    My close encounter came while I was leading our church m/c group on a ride to Deals Gap, we were on the Cherahola Skyway about 3/4 of the way across, I came around one of the sharp curves to the right and there running beside the lane I was in, right next to the white line was a black bear, I dont know who was scared more, me or the bear, I hit the brakes to slow down and he ran straight up the side of the hill, while I was coming to a stop the 2 bike behind me almost hit me, because they didnt hear me yell bear over the CB. Thats as close as I ever want to get to a black bear without some kind of barrier between me and him.

Kenny, thanks for being there and being such a good friend to Mark, as Eck said you are his angel, thanks for keeping us informed.

    Todd, we are so sorry to hear of your friends passing, I know how you must feel, because when you told me of his health a few weeks ago, I could see it was tuff for you to talk about. Let me know about the memorial, if at all possible, I will ride with you to it............We will keep his family in our prayers..................

    I was lucky that it didnt mess up the gear it engaged with, it didnt have a scratch on it when Muffinman looked at it............but that final drive gear, man was it tore up, looks like a pit bull had been chewing on it for a couple of years, and believe it or not I rode the bike like that for about 4 months till the sound got so loud I couldnt stand it...................I was lucky. If i can find it I will post a pic of it. Thanks to Muffinman and Dokon I didnt have to get rid of it and it still runs great to this day, but I will have to do 2nd gear soon, it still goes in ok, but if I get on it real hard it pops out............and it just started doing that at 80,000 miles.................Great bikes............ Thanks again Muffinman, Dokon, and all the supervisors who helped on that project............ Ok I found the pics............... .

    I love Peeps too, used to be you could only get them at Easter, now they make them for all the Holidays........the only thing I like better is the chocolate covered marshmellow egss or bunnies.............cant stop eating those once I start, so the wife wont let me go shopping around Easter time or I load up on them.....................sometimes I sneak into the store on the way home and stock up, only to find I then have twice as many cause the wife surprised me with a couple of packs of them, and I dont have to worry about anybody else eating them here, she doesnt like either one of them.................

    In Newnan, Ga, so looks like I wont be making the Ga Meet & Eat...........Sorry guys, was looking forward to it, but I gonna stay in where its nice and warm and DRY. If any of you are brave enuff to ride in this weather, BE CAREFUL>>>>>>>>>>>PLEASE. Im gonna sit here and drink coffee and read a good book and watch it snow...........:snow2:

    They be Dunlops, right from the factory, I am very glad of that, but they will be replaced with Avon Venom X when the time is right.....................

    Charlene and I are saddened to hear about your mother, our prayers for her are going up, hope all goes well, the Dr.'s at Oschener are top notch..........Our prayers are with them also, may the Lord guide their hands to a successful surgery............
