  1. If I can pay you on time and get these terms....:rotf:$1000.00 down and $100.00 a month for 300 months, just draw the papers up and we can do the deal.:rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf: Love to add the shiny one to my collection.
  2. That fairing and bag set up really makes the Vstar look great, too bad the prices are out of site, over $1000.00 for the rear bag, and $1300.00 for the fairing and $1900.00 for the bags make that close to half the price of a basic Vstar............way too much money for this poor guy. But it really looks sharp. I guess I will just have to dream, if I were to buy anything it would be the bags, they look really great.

There were others that I bought and refurbished and resold to finance the purchase of the bikes that I wanted to own and ride, so I did not include those, they number in excess of 20 bikes either rebuilt or parted out.

  10. I might miss all stress and worry that goes with putting these things on next year...........NOT..........but I will miss seeing everyone of my good friends that I have met at the past Vogels, I am thinking about doing something for 09 a little different from Vogel, but still in the brainstorming stage........... I am just glad its over for a while, no more worrying about this and that........Its always a labor of love though, doing something that benefits others and puts a smile on so many faces really makes me happy, especially after all the success we have had raising funds for St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Thanks again to everyone who attended, participated and donated their time, effort and prizes to make all the Vogels a great success. If I never put another one on, I can still be happy with what we accomplished. Sorry, didnt mean to get on my soapbox.....:rotf:

Today our motorcycle ministry is riding to deliver gifts to underprivleged childlren who wont have a Christmas, this is the third year we have been doing this, and its really fantastic to see the looks on the kids faces when a group of leather wearing motorcyclists arrive at their front door and deliver gifts to them. They dont know its happening in advance so its really a big surprise to them when we show up..........BUT, a nasty stomach virus has me down for the count, so Im missing the ride of the year..............:crying:
  18. I didnt know this fact till a few days ago, more lives were lost on 9/11 when the Twin Towers were hit by terrrorists. We lost over 2300 service personel at the Pearl Harbor attacks and over 3000 when the Towers went down............and it could have been worse. Thats not counting the plane that crashed in Pa, and the hit on the Pentagon.............. Thanks to all our service men and women who protect our freedoms now and in the past...................
  19. I have been riding for over 40 years on and off, and I have been know to do the same thing more times than I can count.........So dont go condeming yourself for someting so menial...........now if you change oil and forget to replace the oil plug................then you can call yourself a Moron................I havent done that yet, but, who knows, at my age brain farts come more often now......................:rotf::rotf:

  25. Well, Im still alive to tell about this, so it is obivous that Dom hasnt had his first ride yet, he does have to go out to the garage and check them over to make sure I havent messed up his future ride and now has his own little 3 wheeler with all the bells and whistles that makes Harley sounds and all that noise little kids like, so he is content now to have that, Granny and Mommy say no rides till his feet reach the floorboards.......so it will be a while........
