Stephen was a friend we will all miss, I got to know him at Vogel in 2006, when he brought his Uncle with him, spent most of a rainy day in our cabin with Steve and his uncle. It was a day well spent, was the following year at Vogel that I met his lovely wife Marion, a great couple and family. He will be missed. We will continue to keep Marion and the kids in our prayers during this difficult time. Lewis & Charlene

I purchased the Sears lift on sale for $59.00, and it works perfectly, it has the pedal to let it down and it comes down slowly letting the bike settle easily on its side stand, it works great with the Vstar and the 1st gen. Best $59.00 I have spent on any tool. My venture sat on it for a year while I was refurbishing it and it stayed up the whole time. Great lift for a great price.

Thanks to some very generous members here I have been able to post some items up for auction. They can be found in the classified section under St. Jude auctions. You can also access it by clicking on this banner at the top of the page when it appears. Remember all proceeds from these auctions go to the Kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I had the same thing happen to mine, would boot up to windows screen then error message and nothing else. The error message was someting related to a DLL file missing. I booted from the CD with windows XP disc and did a repair, all is well now.

My buddy and I left our bikes, both were CL 350's, at my house one day and took my dads boat out to go waterskiing, when we got back, our bikes had been moved from where we parked them and my brother told me that our dad and my best friends dad took our bikes out and rode them, I didnt know he knew how to ride, then I found out he had a Honda 50 at the shipyard where he worked that he used to get around the yard. Wonder what other secrets our dads kept from us.

Anybody done business with this eBay seller?
DragonRider replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Watering Hole
If you are interested, if you dont receive the ones you bought on Ebay, I could be persuaded to part with these. I will have to dig them out of the shop and see what they look like. -

Well folks, I wasnt planning on having any auctions yet, but I have been getting items donated to do just that, so I asked Don to put the St. Jude Auction back in the classifieds and make a banner, which he has graciously done. Keep you eye on them, I will start posting some items by the end of the week. It works the same as last time, just click on the banner at the top of the page and it will take you there, if its not there just hit your refresh button till it comes up or go to the classified section and look for St. Jude Auctions. I want to thank all the wonderful members that make up this site for being so unselfish and helping with this cause.

I will be shipping his requested items in the next day or so, have to find a large box to hold all of it..............I bought all the store had, I will hopefully get some more in a day or so. What else does he like for snacks, like to throw some other goodies in there too..........

Said "Goodbye" to 86'VR and 86'V65 MAGNA Today!
DragonRider replied to skydoc_17's topic in Watering Hole
Sorry your having to part with you rides, I know its a hard thing to do, but hopefully you still have one in your stable. Now about parts, do happen to have a rear master brake resv, and a right front caliper for an 83, mine is acting up, not sure if its the caliper or the resv. I am tired of messing with it, so might just replace both. -
SO! What are the AGES of the DRIVERS of VR.Org?

60 yrs young here, and nothing except original parts on this body, feel more like 36 than 60, of course there are the few aches and pains that remind me at times that I am not as young as I used to be, been married for 35 years, 2 great kids with families of their own and have 3 great looking grandsons................of course riding a 26 year old bike helps me feel younger too..........no 2nd gen here............... -
This auction will end Nov., 7 2009 @ midnight...............You pick the size and Color, shipping paid!!!!!
