I have the yamaha brand saddlebag and trunk liners and love them. So nice to pull in wherever you are staying and pull them out as luggage. Its awsome.

Installing Kuryakyn ISO grips

You can do it, but get the correct grips, the 35's. buddy of mine tried the 40's didnt work . order the end weights. you wont be sorry. much smoother. The way I look at these jobs, I might not be as quick as some people. I just make sure that I have no time constraints, and alot of good music and beer. -
Tie down 2nd Gen on Trailer?

Towed mine to Gatlinburg last year. Hard to snake them through little openingsunder fairing, and around the lower bracket between the fork tubes. one on each side and one on each side of frame in rear. Be sure to use ratchet straps and not just pull tights. In my experience the pull tights loosen, ratchets do not. 70 and 80 all the way down, it never moved an inch. Good Luck. -

Only having my RSV Two years, I went from bald dunlops when I bought her, to a set of Metzlers. They feel great and I have had no complaints as far as handling goes. But I think next time around I will try the Avons. Everyone seems to like them.

if I was to have progressive springs and syn oil installed, how much could I expect to pay. Or with alittle coaching, could I do it myself.

I have bubs on my 99 and everyone,including myself, love the way they sound. It has a quiet rumble, but when you crack it , the NASCAR race shows up. Ive been told its the best sounding motorcycle they have ever heard,[ more than once].

How much clearance do you loose. I enjoy being able to realy drop this bike down in the curves. would the lowering affect this.I am only 5'9" and about 180lbs. Got to admit lowering it sounds appealing.

hey everyone, Hope someone can help me with a couple things. Looking for visors for my turn signals and headlight. Already have them on running lights but they have no logo on them. would love to find the rest without logo. Does anyone know of a vender they recrecommend for this. Also can I get one onto the headlight without removing fairing ,or do I have to pull it.

I agree, keep the tank full and put sta bil in . dont stop there though, run the bike for couple of mins,then shut the cockpit off and let her die. Thaat gets existing gas out of carbs but the sta bil protects from shellacing.

Hi everybody, Just installed my new custom radiator cover by one of our own fine meber venders,[steve Wagner]. If you dont have one of these on your RSV, you have to check it out. Best money I have spent to date on making my 99 look better. Always hated that bare old radiator look. This custom fab fiberglass paintrd to match is awsome. Installs in seconds and looks super expensive.

Never owned the ultra but family has them and Ive ridden them alot. Love the pickup on my RSV and even though everyone loves the sound of a Harley. I love the sound of my v4. Lower center of gravity does go to the Harley but I think the brakes are better on my RSV then my Father in Laws Ultra. The options are more up to date on the Harley. The cass. player has got to go Yamaha,come on. Get what makes you happy. I personally love my RSV. The guy I purchased it from wants it back.
