    Just broke out my 99,or the BUICK as my fellow riders call it. turned the fuel on, unplugged the tender, pulled the choke, cranked the throttle a couple times, and old reliable fired right up. Checked my tire pressure and down the road I went. Still makes me smile, every year.

    Just go.t back from Tenn. with 14 guys on everything from vfr, ducati, moto guzzi, . I chased , and lead them on the dragon, moonshine 28, rt 32, etc. some of these curves touch each other and we may run second and third gear at 5500 to 7000 rpm's on the whole road. these bikes can hang with anything if you are not afraid of throwing the wait around.

    Welcome two the most knowledgeable, group you will ever belong too. we are all pretty damn funny too. Best thing I changed on my bike was rick Butler seat upgrade. He takes your cover off and replaces original foam with memory foam. It is awesome. you will find him under member/vender. Also a colored matched fiberglass radiator cover. Great look. Make it yours dude.

    We are human ,so the loss will always be hard. Lost my Dad to the same thing. my mom passed 6yrs ago.You are blessed to have been able to say your goodbyes, and be with him inhis last days. celebrate his life, your memories with him. I know picturing my Mom greeting my Dad makes me smile. He is new again with a smile. We are the only ones suffering. prayers are with you.

    Cherahala is one of my favorite roads in the area. long sweeping corves are fantastic. the dragon is def a during the week ride. we found monday thru wednesday the best. rt 32 is awesome but turns into gravel 3/4 of the way so be careful. but no traffic at all so you can take your time.

    I just went through that with my Father. Lost him from cancer. He said he lived his whole life for that moment. He said if he timed it just right, Mom would have dinner on the table when he arrived. Lost my Mom in 07.. She sounds like a wonderful person, and God will have a glorious home for her to smile down on you from. My prayers are with you and your family.

    Dave, If it spoke to you than what are you waiting for. I have a 99 and wouldnt trade it for anything. It spoke to me and still is.5300 is pretty good since it has alot of the pricy stuff already done. Tires and shock, like everyone has metioned. shock is alot of mula.. That resd is awesome looking.GOOD LUCK

    Guysneed some help. went to replace my tailight bulb on my 99RSV with led board, blew the 15amp fuse. but it in again was ok for a few min, so I put the tools away. blew the fuse. changed fuse put old bulb in seems to be fine. Is there something else I need to do to put this so called plug and play led. its the 32 not the 100.

    Had my seats done by Rick Butler and they are awsome. Made a huge difference on how long we can stay on. think it was 70 for both. Had a mustang on my vstar and liked it very much, but also spent 550. also it was higher not lower. Rick cancustomize that for ya.

    my 99 has gray wheels. what year did they go to black wheels. was that the same as the fins

    had lights no problems. took old bulb out and put new led board in, no lights. unplugged board and plugged old bulb in and nothing
