Hey Tartan, Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I got a Maine Coon cat about 6 months ago from a shelter. first he was afraid of me, (only liked girls) my kind of cat:) Now he's my best buddy. Course I give him fresh bluegills daily. Did I say he was spoiled? I'm thinking of getting him a buddy. Seems like your doing it the right way. Best of luck, Steve

Here I was, laying on a deserted island, a warm tropical breeze, a beautiful womans head on my chest, Then my boss walks in:no-no-no:-------I blamed you Don. Steve

Orrin, Doesn't sound like a money maker to me. As you know, I could have bought my buddies for the same $ but the dealer got it and sold it for less than he marked it up, so unless you could get it for quite a bit less, I wouldn't do it. And like was mentioned, lots of competition in the spring. Just my opnion, Have a Merry Christmas! Steve

Ron, I saw your list from last year, can't believe you missed anything. But, I'm sure you can come up with something. Gogeous motorcycle (and trailer) Steve

Sounds familiar, I've also got a project for the winter. I've stretched the swingarm 3 1/2" and raked the front end to 40 deg, cut all the junk off of the frame, got some 5" over tubes and away we go. Mine is an XS650. Still have lots to do to it. But it will be bare bones for sure. Have fun with your project, Steve

Hey Kit, I think youv'e got this picture thing figured out. Man, they look great, just as I expected. Would love to hear them sometime. Maybe I'll run into someone with them on. Thanks, Steve

Thanks Kit, I have to assume that they exhaust, two on each side. Look real good though. I just put on a pair of slash cut RK, drilled out mufflers on my bike and on the same day got our first snow, and that was last fri. Since then, wev'e gotten a foot of snow. All reved up and no place to go---------- Steve

Hey Kit, I'm sure. LIke the Japs really care. But on the other hand, everyone on here, me included ,would help another guy out in a heart beat. It's nice to realize what the roadside assitance really means. Glad I have my AAA! Steve

It seems like it would by fine for a dirt bike, but not a full sized,(800lb) bike. I certainly wouldn't trust it. Steve

Miles have notthing to do with anything, it's all about what I'm doing at the time. Steve

Seems to me that the bike is not the problem. Good luck on that one, Steve

I rode one of those Rocket 3s, and the advice my buddy gave me, was to hang on when you twist the grip. Man, that thing is fast, I can't imagine a turbo. Equally impressive are the brakes. Steve

Interesting thread, I have a hard time differenciating between 300 lbs of your wifes junk in the trailer vs 300 lbs of dirt bike. I say, lay it down, take off and have a blast! Steve

Well, I'm sure that my comments will be blown away, but I'll say this: I smoked from 63 to 87, a pack a day, every day, quit 3 times, twice for 9 months or so, and once for a couple years, no problem starting back up. finally quit cold turkey, in 87 and haven't had a drag from a tobacco product since. I bought a swisher sweet to smoke at the venture in the pines, but could'nt bring myself to smoke it. It is the most addictive thing that I have ever done, including lots of other stuff. When I quit, I always said that if I ever come down with terminal anythilng, the first thing that I will do is go out and buy a pack of winston reds. It took 5 years for that to change! Sooooooooooo, what I have to say to you all, is--------GOOD LUCK! It ain'nt gonna happen over night. Steve
