I put a Nexen on my RSTD this spring and have 11M on it. I don't think about it anymore, Run 40psi. Sticks like glue on the curves and soft on the road. When you first put a CT on, you will notice everything. That will go away. Enjoy, Steve

Don, As much as I like your avitar Eagle, Just couldn't bring myself to use it. Just seems to belong with you. Found this one, and with it being white--which goes with my black and white bobber, I used this one. Seems to kind of finish it off---least till I change it again. Steve

Hey, Thanks Don. I've been using the same cast iron skillets for a good 30+ years. I'll give it a shot tonight. Steve

SilverT, My thoughts exactly---recipies? I'm making some venison (all I ever have in the house) chili tonight, got some red and green peppers growing ouside, and thanks to you guys, I'll make some cornbread muffins to go with it. That indian corn sounds pretty good to go in also. But, smeared with bacon grease?--I'll probably pass on that one, I'll go with butter. Steve

I'm with TX2 Sturgis on this. I'd take all of the sheet metal/parts off of the back of the bike, then start seeing which needed tweeking and put them back on one at a time, till I had it all straight. Steve -
And to get the thing going, try pinwall cycles. Whoops, see that has been suggested. good luck, Steve

Agree, paint the bags to match the bike, and not the whole bike. Looks great, Steve -

I'd add a great big thanks to Owl who made his fantastic chili, salads, breakfasts pulled pork for Sun., and organized and put it all together. What a great job! See you all next year, Steve

Me and Yooper and LA made it back to my place around 7:30. 500+ miles and another great ride. Thanks to Anne, Gary and Chris for a great time. It's so great to have them open their house to us all. Chris has this pig cooing down pat now! Couldn't be better. Black Owl---------GREAT FOOD!!! A great turn out with good friends. I for sure will not forget the ride that Juggler took us on. --I think that I could see the curvature of the earth!!!!!!! You should all try to get there next year. It will only be better. And the folks that have us the breakfasts--------------Thanks To meet new friends and old--the best--- Anne--Be sure and give Scooter a big hug for me. Steve

Don, You probably don't want to know anyways. Annie is a great name, and she sure looks at home in your front yard. Kinda like she has always been there. She will be a great addition to your family. Steve

Mt Zion is just 5 miles south on 61 from 171 to Gays Mills. Alvin Straight drove his garden tractor from Laurens Ia to Mt Zion to see his brother and a movie was made of his trip. "The straight Story" The Mt Zion bar is where Alvin had his first beer in many years. We always stop and have a Miller Light in his honor. Have a great weekend, Steve

Iowegian, So your headed up to my backyard this weekend huh? Those are the roads and places I ride on weekends when I'm home. A great neck of the woods to spend a weekend for sure. You might want to go to Mt Zion, and have a cold one in honor of Alvin. I'm off to PIP tomorrow, but next weekend if you aren't doing anything, a group of us will be at the Davis rally for the weekend. Come on down. On that fri, I'm going to the grotto and on to Laurens. (gotta see Alvins trailer) Steve

What I would recommend is that two "whiners" (I guess "chirpers" would be nicer) get together and try swapping baskets, just to see what happens. It ain't that hard. Goose Now that is the best idea I've heard in a long time. Good job, Goose. I do notice mine making noises every now and then, but then again, being hard of hearing does have it's advantages. A good friend of mine who has been a Yamaha mech forever has always hated these motors because of all the noises that they make. Steve
