  1. No stupid questions here. We all got here looking for answers. I run about 35 to 45 2up. Don't exceed 54 I think it is. I have ridden on 0 and its kinda soft there
  2. That's the only ones I use. They work great for me
  3. I was wonderin where the rest of the train was when those cars went over. I don't think that's something you want to see looking back and seeing the sparks coming at you..
  4. I had some friends like that...:rotf: Hey, come to think of it I got a lot of cheap friends...:rotf:.
  5. Mine was like that for a couple of months. And it still worked, go figure. WE were all at a M&E and Rick parks next to me and says, ""your CB is on the wrong side. I said "why's mine wrong and yours right". (first time I ever meet him)We both started laughing .Start of a great meet and eat.
  6. Remove the zumo from the mount and take an eraser to the contacts on the bottom. See if that helps. Also remove the xm from the zumo mount and see if any water got into that usb connector. Would not hurt to blow it out with some air.
  7. Uhhh, where's the rest of it ?
  8. Well I know why that tire is flat, It was rubbin against the trailer.....
  9. Yep, Those are Super Flux leds. They have a much high mcd output and wider angle of view. Next step up from that is the 1 watt and 3 watt Luxeon Emitters. I have a couple of those wired up in my brake light
  10. I ain't been on a bike yet that was any good in sand. Watch the old bones Charlie, you don't bounce like you use too. Maybe a little higher now due to the extra padding.
  11. Didn't even notice that. Yea, you may want to change the pics. Some people may think your tryin to pull one over on them.

RIGHT ! To much current (amps) occurs when there is to little resistance to current flow at the specified voltage. Hence the reason your fuses are marked in amps . Lets put it this way. Your headlamp is running at 12vdc. 15A fuse. The resistance the filament has to current flow causes it to glow and all works well. You take the same circuit and short across the filament (no resistance to current flow now) and bang, you blow the fuse because of too much current flow , still at 12vdc. Electronics 101...

If you don't know anything about electronics or ohm's law its best not to say anything. You certainly don't with that statement.

LEds ? Single leds ? Is there a current limiting resistor ? Biggest cause to burn out an led is over current.
  15. I think that was mainly 2nd and 3rd. Those 90's are kinda tough to take in 4th and 5th :rotf:
  16. Generally what happens is if you pressure wash your bike and you hit the area arounfd the seals good and hard. Some water will get in past the seal. That will cuase the balls to pit. Had that happen to me on a Nomad a while back. Stopped using a pressure washer since then around the bearing seals.
  17. You need a voltmeter to check, but you maybe right. I would check the master fuse first. Its a 30 amp. You can easily remove the fuel tank and get to the connector for the ign switch. That way you can check to see if there's voltage at the connector. Even a little 12 dollar one from Home Depot would work to check for 12 volts DC or higher
  18. Can you jump start it ? Is it in gear with the kickstand down ? Indicator lights on? Got a voltmeter ? What's the voltage on the battery ?
  19. Think I might have the Whine/Chirp ..... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtYxINUdEBo]YouTube - 3 headlights[/ame]
  20. Oh great, Yours are dead, Soon they'll be just a ghost of a smiley. They all seem to work here.

  22. Don't forget to take the stuff outta your pockets....
  23. I don't remember removing it completely, You may get away with just loosening it.
  24. I have one, use it a few times a week. Really helps when I get strange pains in my back. Only stay on it (inverted) maybe a minute or two, like 3 times then get off. It works for me.
