  1. Thanks bongobobny. I know where to get one but the wife will get it today while I'm at work. I just needed to know what to tell her to tell them.
  2. Thanks mlew!
  3. Lost the pinch bolt on the rear axel. Can someone tell me the size?
  4. I run 25psi in the 12" tires on my Aluma trailer. Pulls great, doesn't bounce and they look new after 30,000 miles.
  5. :rotfl:Your kidding right?:rotfl: Living in Jacksonvill Florida I'm suprised you can even spell winter. I may put some highway pegs up front and some lights on the rear. Other than that, I'm riding.
  6. I did one a few years ago but I dont remember the name of the research company. Filled out a survey that took about 30 minuts then an interview for another 30 minuts. I left with a crisp, 100 dollar bill. I wish they would call me again.
  7. Very handy item. I bet I've worn out a dozen of them over the years.
  8. This dosent help anyone out side the metro Atlanta area. But if your in the area you really cant beat Two Brothers Tires. http://www.twobrotherstires.com/ Well, I see they are now selling online also.
  9. The worst part is the prep the night before. You will need to make sure you ride with your mouth closed from now on tho, or youll wistle out your a$$.
  10. Fonts too small for my old eyes.
  11. Got her done. Thanks guys!
  12. Thanks Lilbeaver, but I don't see a link.
  13. I bought a set of passing lamps used so of coarse no instructions. Where should I get the power from? Do I need relay?
  14. Yawn. Just another Harley. I see a hundred of them every day. Sorry, I guess I just dont see what others see.
  15. Not my neck of the woods but I've rode it. Good ride. http://www.motorcycleroads.us/roads/tn_us421.html
  16. If ya want to be one of the sheep, get what the sheep get. I'm up in that area alot, just not this weekend.
  17. Correct. At least in my experiance. Less input needed=quicker response. Shirley had noticed how I was strugling at low speeds, and that now I dont. I think I have about $7 invested in the mod and about an hour making and installing the links. They may not be for everybody, but if you dont like them your not out much. I love'em.
  18. I find the lighter/quicker handeling to be a plus. Sure I found myself over steering at first but quickly got acustumed to it.
  19. Congrats on the new bike. Come join us on VTXOA.com The folks over there are are very knowlegable and helpfull with the VTX. Kinda like this place.
  20. Sorry we missed Y'all. We were on our way but a flipped Hummer with 4 trapped occupants blocked our route on 321 comming out of Wears Vally. Not knowing a route around, we turned around, ate at The Back Porch resturant and headed back across the mtn. The tail of the dragon at night, in the rain, makes for an interesting ride. Hopefully we'll make the next one.
  21. We now have a humming bird infestasion. We started with one feeder this spring and had no activity. Added a second and started seeing birds. Added a third feeder and I have never seen so many humming birds. We have to fill all the feeders every 2 to three days. It's real hard to get an accurate count, but I bet we have 15-20 birds. There a real hoot to watch.
  22. OK. We'll try to make it to the Red Roof Inn by 6.
  23. Shirley and I will be staying at the Tuskeegee motel over on 28 Friday & Saturday. We were thinking about going to The Chop House in Sevierville Friday, probably around 5 or 6. Yall could join us there, or we could join yall somewhere. We would love to meet up either way.
  24. Yea, I was aware that I could get the same result by lowereing the front, but I dont want to scrape anything. I get a sharp pain in the ribs everytime I do. Trader, They replace the stock shock links and raise the rear of the bike about 1 inch. You can buy them from Diamond R or make them yourself if you have a few tools. Mainly a drill press. Do a search for leveling links. Lot's of info on them.
