  11. Heavy rollers (throttle)...
  12. Not necessarliy. There are 2 separate switches inside the module, aqnd one set of contacts may be working but the other set may not be. There is 3 wires coming in/out of the switch, 1 common ground, and the other 2 are closed with the kickstand up. You must read near zero ohms, not 7 or 12 or anything above less than 1 ohm. Also, maybe your clutch switch is bad, the connector may be lose or coroded. Find the wires and with the clutch depressed, you should see a short, and with the clutch off an open circuit...
  13. Oh, he Definately has it!! I saw it and he has a good case of it...
  14. The CLASS (Air) only works in the acc position, no adjusting on the fly. Cracked plastic is a fact of life, the best stuff to repair is the 2 part epoxy specifically for plastic. Replace tires with Dunlop E#'s, you will be very happy with them. Broken radio buttons are common, and the best fix is buy a radio control unit off of fleabayb for the parts. Definately remove the driveshaft and grease with a moly grease liberly. Take cash with you and wave $1500 under his nose and see if he grabs it. You may get it for that. Tell him that's all you can afford. Have checkbook handy in case he won't lower the price and you want it that badly. NEVER act like you really want the bike, he will use that to his advantage...
  15. Idunno, he DOES say he has a firm grip on the rear end, but it must be fat because he is talking about getting rid of it...
  16. Pretty much if it starts easily and runs smooth, and the price is under2K, it should be a keeper...

  20. There is a trick to getting them out easily. First insert your #2 phillips screwdriver in the screw, and then take a hammer and give the end of the screwdriver a reasonable wack to drive the head in securely and to impact the threads. while pushing down on the screwdriver twist as well. Should come out fairly easily...
  21. Sounds like a great deal!! As stated, you can part it out and make a huge profit. Where in Ontario are you?? There are several very knowledgeable members around...
  22. I would also check your bearings on the triple tree to make sure they did not loosen up a tad. Dingy makes a nifty wrench for adjusting them...

  24. Asminister a large dose of attention and pets and that should help a lot!!
  25. I would rate it a fair to good deal... Offer $750. You can always tear it down and sell the parts on fleabay for a profit!
