Yah!! The usual source is the connector from the pickup coils up to the ignition module. You will find it about halfway up the frame... -

Just remember when you launch you are shaft drive, so it will tend to kick sideways a tad rather than come up. You can pop a wheelie with a MK1...

I agree, 3K is reasonable for it. Unfortunately all your work and mods won't bring more money but will make it worth your asking. In better economic times I would start at over 3K and settle for 2.5 to 3K...

Yah! MK1 brakes leave a lot to be desired. Installing Stainless steel lines helps, albeit expensive. Step 2 is to upgrade to MK2 brakes but then you have to switch out your front forks and rear caliper bracket, which has to be modified to fit on the swingarm. Step 3 is to replace the front calipers with Yamaha R6 calipers. It gets expensive but you will stop on a dime... PS Welcome aboard!!!
