The local university now has a curriculum in the Chinese language. I understand its even more difficult than English.

I need a new front tire on my RSV. The Metzler has plenty of tread, but is cupped and gives a shaky ride. I had a new Elite-III put on in Cody this past summer, so might as well try one up front. If I needed a new rear too, I might try the new Michellin.

Metzeler ME880 and the Dunlop D407/D408 were the comp tires. is the Dunlop 407/408 an Elite II/III ? They have a rear tire for the 2nd gens, but not a front tire in oem size, but a 130/90-16 might work.

Mark, Thanks for your hospitality on my way to Cody, and the pleasure of riding with you on the last leg of the trip. having a friend to keep me calm was a big help when having a flat tire in Casper. Happy New Year to you and your family.

Randy, Its good you were able to get out. Nothing like a good ride to sooth the nerves. I may take a short ride also today, but have a number of chores to do before we get the hard freeze coming in sunday night. RandyR

If thats 'the way they are', then the sales page and installation instructions should say so. Although at the price they cost, it should be a drop in fit. btw they are on sale thru New Years.

Unless I'm mistaken, a few 07 RSTD's have also had the improperly torqued head bolts also?

I don't know anything about these systems, but the thought occurs to me that I might get a small tank and pump into the tank when the gas is flowing freely, then rig a switch mechanism to run off the tank if the well head isn't giving adequate pressure.
