Hey Bubber, I'll bring my CHAIN SAW along. That should go a lot quicker than that little rotozip. Hope to see you there, Scooter Bob -
Wasn't me, I've got a black one. I did see a 07 blue/black a few blocks from the Peru library at Noon today, and another 07 blue/black heading south at mile 81 on I39 at noon thirty today. I'll try again to hook up with you next time i get down that way. Later, Scooter Bob

I'll be leaving in a few minutes. Going to take the long way around Lake Michigan just for fun, and to see the big bridge. Going to stay somewhere along Hiway 2 on the top of the lake tonight, and head to the rally on Monday morning. See you'll tomorrow afternoon, Scooter Bob

Good thing you had "payroll checkbook" along:thumbsup2: Happened to me right after I took this pic. Luckily, I had a slight downhill, and was able to power out of it. Left a nice deep cut through their beach lot though. Later, Scooter Bob

Lookin forward to the pics. It's been 10 years since I've been out that way, and would love to again. Yes, the Grand Coulee Dam is quite a site. Have a safe ride, and enjoy, Scooter Bob

I'd consider hosting a small one, but any day now they will be digging up our street. Not even sure how I'll be getting the bike in and out, but I'll find a way! I'm planning on taking a roundabout way to Indiana on Sunday. I could meet you somewhere in your neighborhood and bring my Carbtune with me. Then I could turn the International Rally into a MD. How's your back brake pads? Later, Scooter Bob

Some say it's because the oil level is a bit on the high side of the glass. But I get that anytime I pound the superslab all day long. Just my , Scooter Bob

Lots of different trike kits out there, I wouldn't think too many would re-use a known weak point. But, I don't know fer sure. Boy, I hope it waits 2 weeks. I was thinkin' about going over the top on the way to the International next week. Later, Scooter Bob

Just not my cup of tea. I know there are a couple around here, Madison Quaker Steak and Lube comes to mind. But for me, that's going to a big city, midweek, gotta work in the morning, I think I'll pass. I'm sure somebody will get one, now that the big weekend is over. If not, will a bunch of ventures in a state park in IN do? Later, Scooter Bob

I just wonder, How many of the trike guys would have a fairly new one laying around? Just a thought, Good Luck, Scooter Bob P.S. My first one made it a little over 60,000 miles. Fortunately, it was still under warranty.

Splattered something a few years back, it left a red stain about an inch in diameter on the windshield. I think it may have been a hummingbird a moment earlier. We do have a feeder hanging from the rain gutter in front of the kitchen window. We don't get many visitors, but they are fun to watch. Later, Scooter Bob

For the little bit that fan is needed, I wouldn't jumper it, maybe a switch for if you THINK it's too hot. About the only time I get the fan on is doing a carb sync on a hot day. Other than that, it's pretty rare. Just my , Scooter Bob

Fram 6017A filter. I get them from Fleet Farm, along with Amsoil 10-40 motorcycle oil. Not sure what "Motorcycle" oils they have at Wally world. But, make sure you get "motorcycle" oil that will work with the wet clutch. I run Mobil 1 synthetic gear lube in the rear end. Just my , and I'm sure I will here about it too, Scooter Bob By the way, where's Trenton? I may be going around the top of Lake MI on the way to the International next Sunday/Monday.

Did they extend this hose down and out the bottom of the lower fairing and pointed back? Could be air flow drawing a vacuum on the hose then, not what was intended for. At any rate, should all be warranty stuff, let them fix it for you. Which dealer, FDL? Could always try some sea foam in the fuel tank to clean the carbs a bit if the shop can't get to it for a while. Later, Scooter Bob

I'm sure "wild" strawberries would count. Not so sure about the "beside my garage" part though. Maybe if you went to Ohio or Michigan for breakfast and took the picture when you get back. Later, Scooter Bob The current target is... You, your bike and your Dad (or your kid or grandkid to prove your "Dadliness") Happy Fathers Day and for those unable to do that ..... You, your bike and a strawberry patch. Happy June! by dunvilsteev

The fix I found for the squeal/chatter is to put some grease on the back of the pads where they contact the pistons, and also the guide areas. Just my , Scooter Bob

I bet it would be. Just out of curiousity, how long does that thing take to walk up, and how many miles is the trip? Later, Scooter Bob

Sorry Bryan, had some other things to take care of when I got home yesterday evening, and they can't be discussed on this sight. That big storm that came across IL yesterday was teasing me all morning. It kinda stopped it's eastward path in the middle of IL, so I kept pounding thinking I could just sneak up through Chicago in front of it. When I got to the end of the IN turnpike, it had settled in right over the city mess. I had lunch and waited for an hour hoping it would move on. Finally decided to head straight west on I80, and took the I355-I290-I90 loop around the west side, and missed it all. Got home around 6 o'clock, right at 4,000 miles round trip. I hope nobody is upset, but there wasn't much to take pics of on that route. Thanks for following on everyone, Scooter Bob

2400 round trip from NE ? Must have a pretty straight shot from where you're at? ENJOY THE TRIP, And don't forget the pics. Later, Scooter Bob
