    Handles fine. We put that on there to get the tent and sleeping bags off the trunk rack when both of us are going somewhere. That weight went back about 1 foot, but down 2 1/2 feet. And, it's really no more weight than a loaded camper trailer would put on it. You're right though, can't back it up to the curb. Later, Scooter Bob

    I was keepin' that plate thing in mind when I did the luggage box thing. Mine's a little visible, but I figure it's better than when I pulled the camper trailer. You'd never see it when that thing was back there, and I've never had any trouble with the law either. Later, Scooter Bob

    You can get one that sits on the floor, plugs into an outlet, and run a hose way out in the back yard. You can sit on the steps and just watch it go down, and tell the wife you can't help her now, your too busy cleanin' up the water! Later, Scooter Bob

    Depending on exactly when the 06 was bought, should have a little bit or a couple years of factory warranty left. Might want to check into that. Just a thought, Scooter Bob

    My 05 was also missing the two large bolts holding the crossbar. They must ship with the tie wrap, and install bolts at set up.....sometimes! As far as the windshield bolts being loose, I didn't notice that. But, I had mine off a few days after I got it to have the windshield shortened a couple inches. Later, Scooter Bob

LOL Seriously, Steve, Karen and I are working on arrangements yet, but if we can make it, we would like a space for a small tent on Saturday. How are your town folk about running a campground at your house for the weekend? As far as Maint goes, I'll be more of a wrench than a need wrenchin'. I'll bring my carb tune. I can help with tire changin' and shaft greasin' and stuff for others. If I find a trailer by then, I'll bring another lift as well. Thanks for steppin' up Steve, Later, Scooter Bob

    Forgot I had scored this Monday morning at the Motel in the U.P. Found a nice bridge about 25 miles down the road too. Will this do you? If so, the next target is.... You and your bike and a field of sunflowers, or any live sunflower. Just not the one in your own garden. I saw a couple fields of them South of Joliet on the way back from IN Wednesday morning.     That should work great for gettin' the fairing split too. If it's precision you want, we can poke a few 1/2" holes in it and bolt it down on that Bridgeport table.
