  1. Hey Bubber...You should've shoveled the roof. Or maybe tried your old snow blower to help out. Now you'll have to send the Missus with her sewing needle. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Unbelievable-video-of-Metrodome-collapse-from-in?urn=nfl-294816 Has that happened since the first couple years after they built it? 2. Looks like they went to Sturgis in style this year. My friend Chuck has been talkin' about and slowly working on this trailer for a few years. He finally got it done for the their Sturgis trip this year. I love it. Later, Scooter Bob
  3. I think we may have enough here to play with my new toy this week. Hopefully the wind doesn't blow it all away. Later, Scooter Bob
  4. It's a 1999 Green one, 4,955 miles on it, got it for $1,650. Hopefully we got enough snow last night to get the trails opened up around here! Later, Scooter Bob

  7. Ya, Hey, but I think everyones havin' fun with it. I offered the spacer tube idea to fill the gap, but now that I think about it, there's that big hole pointing back with the drive shaft in it also. Maybe have to glue in caps just past both bearings. I been :scratchchin:thinkin' 'bout takin' mine down fer that bearing job this winter too, now that I have heat in the shop. Let's keep in touch on this Bubber, Scooter Bob
  8. Could you machine a lightweight plastic tube spacer to fill most of the open area? Later, Scooter Bob
  9. *This is priceless - would love to do this.* One year at Thanksgiving, my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed something from the store. When my sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the turkey. She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven. When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird. With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia, you've cooked a pregnant bird!" At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs! Yep..................SHE'S BLONDE! I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!
  10. They can bust you for that in WI too.
  11. I put them on before my trip to Florida last February. They're not enough at 8 degrees though. But those chemical disposible heat packs at fleet farm, that will fix the problem. I put them on the back side of my hands and between my sock layers, and life was good. Thinkin' 'bout headin' to Texas this coming February! Later, Scooter Bob
  12. I tried to buy a 2001 Venture for $2,100 yesterday. That would have bolted right up. Missed it by a half an hour. Guess I'll keep lookin'. Later, Scooter Bob
  13. The deer we hit last year stripped the whistles clean off the fender... didn't slow him down a bit either. I picked them up and threw them out in the marsh grass. I think they have a better chance of working out there... the next deer might trip over them on the way to the road. Just my , Scooter Bob
  14. Looks like fun! Karen and I took a ride in a Cessna late this summer. Saw all kinds of neat roads going in by a lake and off to another lake we didn't know existed. As soon as the plane landed, we jumped back on the bike and went exploring the new roads we saw. That was fun. Later, Scooter Bob
  15. I see a version of that every year, and still laugh. Thanks, Scooter Bob
  16. Actually, that's real experience talking there! I swapped one out in a hurry, and didn't look as close as you did. Makes a heck of a racket when it's a little loose in there. Good Luck with her, Scooter Bob
  17. The lizard's got me covered year round for about $240 full coverage. And that's after they paid 6 grand for a deer hit a year and a half ago. Just a thought, Scooter Bob
  18. I'll be out for a putt today, setting up a poker run for the snowmobile club. I should be able to find something football related in one of these little towns around here. Later, Scooter Bob
  19. Happy Hunting. Clear 'em out. There starting to use guns in our state today. Might work too! I think I better put on some blaze orange when I'm out riding. Later, Scooter Bob

  21. I just finished up an automation project at work, parsing out a few numbers from an ASCII string from a weigh scale and then converting them to BCD in the PLC to monitor limits for sorting. AND NOW YOU HAVE ME LOOKING AT THIS CRAP AT HOME ON A SATURDAY. IT'S JUST WRONG, AND SO MEAN OF YOU. Good thing I'm going for a ride today, so I can get this crap back out of my head again. ya, have fun with it. Later, Scooter Bob
  22. Looks like they took some styling cues from the Victory Vision! Welcome home Dan, and Welcome back to VR.org! Later, Scooter Bob

  25. I see it's very similar in design to the Voyager Kits. That is, it adds "training" wheels to the stock bike, and retains the stock drive train and tire. I don't have a trike, but I've seen a few issues in campgrounds and such where the extra wheels straddle a rut, and the stock tire is left "hanging", and you have no traction. Just something to think about:scratchchin:, Scooter Bob
