  3. Riding the Venture Snowmobile, when I can't ride the RSV. Also drinkin' beer and BS'in Later, Scooter Bob
  4. I agree. And there's one 2 blocks from work, and one 3 blocks from home. Guess I better ride to work again tomorrow. Agreed. Always good to see some more sights. And sometimes, someone elses interpretation of the target. No doubt. 4 targets hit this week already, and it's only Thursday! And it's only February! Should be a fun summer of ridin' and lookin' around the countryside.:sign kewl: Later, Scooter Bob The current target is... You, Your Bike in front of a Military Historical Marker or Memorial. Extra points if it is before WWII. by etcswjoe
  5. Don't feel bad Don! Karen's bank is only 3 blocks from our house. Although, I had been smilin' for 35 miles before I got there! Later, Scooter Bob
  6. Looks Like DanOH was gonna say something:scratchchin:, but decided to go for a and get some flowers for the missus instead. Later, Scooter Bob The current target is... You and your bike and a flower display. This can be a display in a store window, a flower pot on a city street, or flowers on a sign or bilboard (so those in the cold states can have a decent chance since there won't be any flowers growing yet). Extra credit if you have real flowers and are handing them to your significant other at the time. by DynoDon
  7. On a cold and snowy night, a local farmer was the only one to show up for the evening service. The preacher asked what should we do since we're the only ones here. The farmer says to the preacher, " if I took a load of hay out to feed the cows, and only one showed up, I'd still feed him." Hearing that, the preacher started in on his sermon, preaching fire and brimstone for an hour. After the service, the farmer says to the preacher, " if I took a load of hay out to feed the cows, and only one showed up, I'd still feed him, BUT I WOULDN'T GIVE HIM THE WHOLE LOAD"
  8. Karen's not very big, but I'm sure we both won't fit in there for the night.
  9. Yer not kiddin' I used to have a Trailmaster Aspen classic, they're pretty similar to this. But the X wife kept it.
  10. Nice! Rub it in. BTW, I wasn't kiddin' in your last trailer thread. If you don't have room to store them both, I'll gladly take this one off yer hands. Later, Scooter Bob
  11. But Karen doesn't like real flowers, cus they die in a week. Oh well, it's supposed to be foggy and rainy tomorrow anyways. Later, Scooter Bob The current target is... 12. I don't know, the pics showed up on my phone with the tapatalk, but you're right, they're not here? But, I opened them, copied them, and pasted them here. If you post them into your thread, I'll take them back off of here. So Don, what's the next target?? Actually, that's why I hadn't posted while waiting for Karen to get done with work. I couldn't think of what the next target should be. Later, Scooter Bob
  13. Dangit, Don you beat me on the posting. I had this taken at 4:30, but didn't post right away, because I was waiting at the local watering hole so I could buy the gal that took the pic a drink. So, you win Don, but do I get the extra credit because my girlfriend was working in the bank? Later, Scooter Bob http://184.72.239.143/mu/a6b5400e-6664-371a.jpg
  14. Better get a move on Don. I rode to work today. I should have a couple hours of hunting time when I get done. Later, Scooter Bob
  15. We have a winner. So Dan, what are all of us going to be looking for next during this midwest warmup? Later, Scooter Bob
  16. In early April, on a bike???? I've made a few memories from following up on some old country and truck driving tunes I used to hear when I was a kid. (and still love to hear, Satelite Radio rocks) I plan on going to Luckenbach, TX at the end of March, heading back through NM, and maybe visiting an old friend that moved to Colorado Springs a few years ago. I see Wolf Creek Pass is in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd see if that top load of chickens were still laying next to that tunnel. But I don't want to bash my MRSV into the side of the feed store in downtown Pagosa Springs. So, how are the road around there in early April? Later, Scooter Bob
  17. I can't tell from either of you guys pics, which one has a lens out in front of the light? Karen and I saw a first gen outside a restaurant in Spooner, WI a couple years back that had a copy of his "States Visited" map laying on the bottom of the housing behind the outer lens. Later, Scooter Bob
  18. Your not kiddin' Don. I went back to look for that target list, and ended up reliving the next ten pages from there. I think I can get 2 more days of snowmobiling in around here, before the snow goes away with this warmup, so I'll probably have the bike out in a few days. Somebody get me a new target please(since I set the current one). Later, Scooter Bob The current target is You, your bike and a sign with a Q in it. by Scooter Bob
  19. Hey, BigDawg. Welcome to the fun! This thing has made for some fun riding and looking around the countryside. A couple years ago, while it was snowing, I put this list of all the previous targets. Just to give you some examples of what's been done for targets in the past. I found it at the top of page 32 of this thread. The current target is You, your bike and a sign with a Q in it. by Scooter Bob
  20. 10. Grease rear wheel pins and install new HH rear pads. (do it when you take the tire off, no time, free) Have never done it so I an not sure where the pins even are, could be a good job for MD if the noise is not to bad. Best done while you have that back tire off for the leak. If it's like a 2nd gen, you just take off an external snap ring, and pull the spider and splines off the left side of the wheel. You could always ride with me to the MD at the end of March, and we'll get it all fixed up for the trip to Freebird's http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=56217 Later, Scooter Bob
  21. What a Steal! That's a pretty small garage you have there. You should really let me take that Bunkhouse off your hands. Later, Scooter Bob
