    Been there. Karen has a piece of sandstone from there in here knick knack shelf. She's always on the lookout for the no cost keepsakes from our trip. There's a piece of driftwood in there too, from the Iowa side landing of the Cassville ferry. Later, Scooter Bob

    We're working on it. Karen is trying to switch weekends at the bank. We should know in a few days. Are there plenty of rooms there yet?     Redneck Bike Washin' , Finally Rained , Finally cooled off, Priceless, Does it matter , ??? Time to wash the bike after 7 weeks of road grime. Got to join 100+ bikes tomorrow to lead in the worlds largest truck parade in Waupun, WI . It's also a fund raiser for Make A Wish. Hopefully I can post another pic of 4 local Ventures with our ABATE group tomorrow night. And it's finally cooled off a bit after 2 weeks of killer heat, for our neck of the woods anyways.     At Mt Wash base they can give you the weather conditions at the top. I was there 2 months ago, and with 42 degrees at the top, no need for gloves. The white knuckles keep the hands warm. 1 mile of the 8 was under construction and was gravel. Take your time, and you can make it. Lots of other nice roads around, and lots of covered bridges. Just grab a tourist map at a visitor center when you get in the area. Have fun, Later, Scooter Bob

    I was with our State ABATE group for a lobby day in 2006 when we were trying to get the red light problem and a few other things changed. It was an easy sell with my state senator. He rides, and had been stuck at a light a few months earlier. He understood. Later, Scooter Bob

    I just got an Android phone a week ago. Loaded the Tapatalk app for $2.99. As others mentioned, works much better than trying to use the web browser. Now, I'm just waiting for a new scavenger hunt target. I can shoot the pic with the phone in the camera and upload right away. And for some reason it loads pics much faster than using the DSL at home. Thanks for adding the stuff to make this work Don. Just my , Scooter Bob

    Just rode over there today. If you want to follow along, I found a route that we won't be on state hiways for more than 3 miles:thumbsup2:, and no towns big enough to even have a gas station for the 70 mile trip.
