  1. I tried on on my 83 venture but it kept getting a warning on my display.(battery) I put the old bulb in and the warning went away. Was there something I should of added. Thanks Doug
  2. I agree we need to work on the bikes. That was what i figured I had to do. I was suprised how well it worked. I was a member on her last year and saw all the talk on seafoam so i tried it. I just want it to last to winter time. Then I am going to paint and go through the bike.
  3. My 83 venture I just got on the 4th missed and did not run smooth. Two cans of seafoam got it running great. My wife dont always run smooth. I wonder? I am sold on sea foam. I will put a 1/4 of a can in every fill up. Have a good day:backinmyday:
  4. If you get pulled over for safty lights, the cop needs to get a life.
  5. Will you get a warning light with the LED light. Being this does not draw enough amps? Just asking because I will look into one of the flashers.
  6. I am back. Name is a little different but still the same. As soon as I can get this paid without pay pal I will join again. Someone got into my pay pal account and took almost $1000 so I am done with pay pal. I got another 83 venture, It runs good for 115,000 miles on it. All I want to add is a stereo to this bike. (its not a royal)
  7. One morning Santa wakes up to Mrs Santa complaining about his weight. So not wanting to hear it he goes to the toy shop. Walking in the toy shop not a elf working. Well Santa wanting to go on a sled ride to get away, the deer run off. Then an angel walks up and ask where do you want the christmas tree.
  8. A 53-year-old Argos man died early Saturday morning after a car crashed into his motorcycle on U.S. 31, , south of 11th Road The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department identified the Argos man as Kenneth Nettrouer. Witnesses told police Christian Chacon, 21, of Granger, was driving a 1987 BMW 325 at a high rate of speed as he passed three vehicles, just before the crash. There was patchy fog in the area at the time of the crash. Police said Chacon drove into the back of Nettrouer’s 2007 Honda Shadow 750 motorcycle, throwing him. The force of the collision caused Chacon’s car to roll over, stopping when righted itself on its wheels. Plymouth EMS responded to the scene. Nettrouer was flown by Samaritan helicopter to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, where he later died, according to a police news release issued early Saturday afternoon. Chacon was arrested on several charges, police said. (will we ever learn to slow down)
  9. Sold my 83 venture this morning. Not by choice but eating is always nice. Thanks to everyone that has helped me with information on my bike. The new owner said he will join on the club. Again thanks.
  10. The bike is 1500. I would have to pay you 1500 for the wife if she sees this im in trouble
  11. Well, tell me, is she high maintenance? I don't want no more high maintenance wimmen! RandyA she wears dollar sign earings.
  12. I am selling my 83 venture if anyone knows who might want one. Got some cracked plastic brakes are week. but other then that its not to bad of a bike. I just put in new steering bearings and clutch bearing. I need to get some bills caught up and the bike is the first to go. I put the wife on ebay and had no hits. I am askig 1500 whitch i dont thik is to far out of line.
  13. i had to pull my water pump off of mine to replace it. I kept my old elbow and repaired it for a back up. If i remeber right they are 30 to 40 dollars. you will need to order a waterpump gasket too.I got the gasket from bike bandits. I put a chrome spacer on the part of the crashbar to keep it away from the tube.
  14. Just changed the bearings on my 83. I have a comalong from the rafter of my garage. put the bike on center stand jack the front of the bike up. tighten the comalong on the back of the bike to make it steady. Like they said take the bolts loose it should drop down enough too grease the bearings. I did take the tank cover off and the radio and class off.Just to be safe. Get a spanner and it will make it alot easier.
  15. I had a F 150 whitch had a hydro clutch. I worked all day trying to get it bled. With my wife helping made it a joy.I left it set over night with the cap off, next morning i had a clutch. So Dan your idea works on trucks too
