    I see a lot more women riding in the last two years. Some with their man and some alone just enjoying the ride. Good to see. My better half just likes to sit and let me worry about the idiots as she enjoys the sites. Which is fine with me.

    We go through the same thing at every contract where I work. We are starting the talks on our new contract in a month. We already met and told them when they want to get serious to let us know.

    We have the Bestem set for sadddlebags,trunk liner and rack back. We love them. When we get to where we are going all four bags have the carry handles for easy unloading. All the bags are built just like the star bags and the rack bag has several outside pockets. It has velcro straps for attaching it to the rack but I still put a couple of bungies on it. I always over tie thinks to be sure nothing comes loose.

    I looked at a lot of them and I think the r mark was the only one at the time that I could find with all 11 lights, light up for tail and brake. I was also impressed with the install. Except on the install I put a rubber grommet on the wire through the whole to protect from wear. The light is bright on tail light and real bright with brakes. 11 lights over most 3 lights is a lot brighter and better for safety, IMO.

    With everything I have read and people I have talked to I'll buy the Elite-3's when I retire Mine. I like the thread that said the Avon's stick in wet but I have a buddy that rides year round on a RSV and loves his Elite-3's. Say's they do great year round and we get every weather up here. That is enough for me and he ride aggressively at times so he test the tires. Just my oppinion......

    I am short legged and have enough trouble pushing the bike back with my short legs. I hear it raises the bike which will put me more on my toes.

    We had two boys in the service. I know how hard it is. Him and all our service men or in our thoughts and prays.. We are proud of all what they do for us over here in US.

    It sounds like we all have the same concerns. My wife never wanted to get on a bike until one day I took her for a ride. Now when the bike goes, she is upset if she is not on it. She trust my judgements and knows it could happen but knows I do not take chances when we ride. We have not put as many miles on as many of you but together we have enjoyed every minute we ride together. I think of what could happen all the time.

    On the Valvoline 10-40 moto oil is there any think I should look for. I used to run their racing oil in my dirt bikes with no problems.

    Sounds like great idea and would save on bike breaks and make easier panic stops. But I have not done trailer brake on a bike just cages. I will be watching this though. Sorry I can not help.

    How long do the walmart batteries last. I have used the car batteries but only the one I got for a bike was my VTX before I sold it and bought the RSV. I would stick stock they seem to have good life.

    eusa1' If E-Fishin-C does want your stock mufflers and you want to get rid of them cheap enough. Let me know I drilled out my stock ones and my co-rider says they are to loud. I did 4 wholes and ended up at 11/16th wholes. I think it sounds good but have to keep her happy too, so she'll ride.

    Good looking pup. We always kept stuffed animals and chew toys around with our Labs and were lucky in the chew stages. Might try that it worked great for us on our two Labs.

    There are young riders that do not ride any better than what was discribed above. Age has nothing to do with it.

    I use the pledge and micro cloth on the wind screen. It repells rain and cleans well.
