So I talked to Rick about reworking my seat and he says it's a corbin and can't be done easily so I'm looking to buy a comfier seat (and matching passenger seat) Anyone got one for sale/trade, or can recomend one? yes, thats right my sweet little wife has said to get the gps I want she knows not what she has done. I know some people have bought new ones lately and I am looking for the best deal. so where to buy and what model do you recomend? been looking at the zumo 665.

well, after putting almost 7000 miles on my 08 1600 kaw. nomad, i have decided it is a keeper. i wanted one from the day they first came out. in the 90's. then last year when i arrived at the international at the hub there was a nomad sitting there that looked like new. it was the dark green that i fell in love with in the nineties. i was going to approach the guy with an offer and it was gone. well that sparked my urge to buy one. we'll long story short after shopping around i got an 08 1600. what a bike it is. i have done quite a bit to it to personalize it to my liking. anyone that wants the v-twin experience. i recomend a nomad . the only up front complaints were the lean engine conditions that the cobra 2000r fixed, and the ultra quiet exaust, which the cobra true duals took care of. anyone that wants a v-twin i 100% recommend the nomad as no.1 on the list. bill

what type of Oil do you recomend, I had my last free oil change at the dealers. Also what type (number) of oil filter do i need to get and where do i get it at? (besides the dealers) -
Hi, I'm sure this has been discussed many times, however I did not find any old posts to my satisfaction. So, My question is. What oil would you recomend and what filter would you recomend? My bike only has 3k miles on it so I figured I could switch to whatever I wanted to run and stick with it. I read that some oils have helped with the chirpping noise, which I have a chirp but it's not a bad one. Thanks, Brett -
I'm finally got myself an ipod shuffle. Haven't listened to music much for the last 20 years or so.... I would like to find some "easy listening" (do they still call it that?) guitar music to put on this little contraption. Does anyone have any artrist they recomend that i could download off itunes? Iowawegian....who's really trying hard to understand all these new fangled gadgets.

I just purchased some Bub slip ons for my RSTD and was told I should consider upgrading my air intake filter.Can someone recomend a filter.I heard K&N was good.Is their a specific model or part number I should be looking for?
