I just had to get a new to me PC because of the same problem. Said low memory and to delete files. I ended up deleting almost everything and no space would free up. Then files started deleting on their own. Took PC to a very good computer shop 99Silver knows about and they found a virus that eats up all the memory in the hard drive. The more you delete the more the virus takes. When I didn't have anything more to delete the virus started deleting files on it's own. My PC was 9 years old and not worth the price of fixing it, so I bought one of theirs they built. They were able to save the files I had left and did me right. I don't know much about computers but thought I'd pass this along. Just got this PC 3 days ago and had been fighting the old one for months.

Do all of you really put the bike
KarlS replied to Cruser's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I always do. Once while I was riding I felt the bike wasn't riding right. I pulled over in a parking lot and WITHOUT putting bike on center stand adjusted the front and rear air. When I got home I put bike ON center stand and checked it again. WOW air was a LOT higher then when I set it off the stand. From then on I always check it on the stand. THE ABOVE STATEMENT COULD BE FROM A BRAIN CRAMP BROUGHT ON BY ADVANCING AGE. Because I have never set air off the stand again so I cannot confirm it made a difference. Ok you all, let me have it. -

I was stopped at the Rail Road tracks in Genesee today and a black RSV pulled up next to me flying the USA flag and a POW-MIA flag on the antenna's. I tried to talk to you but you either didn't hear me or just didn't want to talk to someone in a green van. Was it someone from here?

Did you try the smoked white fish at the little trailer in Little Current? It's on the right when you get off the one lane bridge coming onto the island. A must stop when we get up that way.

You Got It.

Looks like a lot of pictures from Potato Creek would get this target. Do I need to change the target? Or just lack of interest? I don't want to get my own target again. Target. You your bike at a bike night or bike day or any gathering of 5 or more bikes.

Never thought this one would be so hard. You your bike at a bike night (or bike day). Do I need to amend it to make it easier. Or is everyone just to busy.

I get stuck in the mess every other Friday and I do not ride the shoulder for the safety reasons you listed. The only time I did was when my exit was less then a mile ahead and traffic wasn't moving at all, and I went very very slow.

Why the Resister??
KarlS replied to KarlS's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
By the way: As soon as I installed the 2.2K Ohm 1/2 watt resister the fuel gauge started working properly again. Looks like I dodged a bullet. Thanks for all the information. -

2045 West US 2 St. Ignace, Michigan, 49781 (906)643-8542 Lehto's Pasties was started in 1947 by Mr. Lehto after he served in WWII and was honorably discharged from the army in 1946. It is one of the Original Famous Pasty Shops located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Lehto's is still family owned and operated to this very day by Mr. & Mrs. Lehto daughter Katherine. This is such a quaint little pasty shop located about 6 miles west of St. Ignace MI on US2. I few years ago my Daughter and I stayed in St Ignace and I asked 4 people where was the best place to get Pasties and they all told me Lehto"s. The one and only Pasties I ever had up there but they were GOOD.

Why the Resister??
KarlS replied to KarlS's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Yes I too HAD a resister already there but if you look at the picture of the mod a resister was added and the resister that was already there was still left on. So in the mod a total of 2 resisters was used. -
Why the Resister??
KarlS replied to KarlS's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Thanks, going out now to install resister. STUPID question time. Is it possible that because of the lack of a resister it could cause my fuel gauge to act up? Today while riding I looked down and fuel light blinking and no bars on gauge. Then I had 2 bars, then 3, back to 2 then 1 then 0. Kept doing that. Filled up with gas (2.1 gal) and read full at 6 bars, then 5 then 4 then 5 then 6. you get the picture.
