hey guys i hear all this talk about the lowering of the tree in the forks but I have only seen it been discussed for rsvs. WIll it have a positive effect on my RSTC? I dont think i have low speed handeling problems but any improvement in handling will be appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone here has one of these trailers. I really like what I see of them and am considering one. A fellow on the STowners site has one and his review was very positive. I installed an AGM battery and to turn off battery warning light I just sniped off the probe and connected the wire to a positive terminal of the fuse box and it seems to work fine. I just read the mod in the First Gen tech library and the post said to use a resister in the line before hooking the wire to a positive terminal. Is there some reason a resister should be used?

Putting my 83 back together yesterday was going quite well. When trying to start it, the positive cable started smoking. Upon closer inspection, I could see it needed replacing some time ago. Any idea where to get one with the main fuse cord and all that??

Like the connectors on a battery tender. Does anyone know which end (short or long) end is positive and which is negative? Thanks.

Well its the end of the riding season, and I said I would give my HD a riding season to see how I like it. Well I decided to sell it, gather my thought (and some cash) and go back to the Venture. If I'm lucky by the time I get ready buy, Yamaha will make a few positive changes and updates. If anyone is interested or knows anyone interested I've listed it on ebay with a reserve of $17,900. what the make of this hitch is on the '91?? I've tried to ID but so far haven't come up with anything positive... I'm not worried about the square stock add-on underneath, but the post, and what fits it. I thought it might be a Bushtec, but can't be positive.

Based upon all of your positive commentary about SW Moto Tire, I purchased two tires on-line. I have not had the same positive experience that you've all raved about. This will be my last purchase from them and I hope that some day my tires arrive.
