I won't be flying jets anytime soon.

At the party I was watching it at, we all was chanting for a wardrobe malfunction. No I didn't like it at all.

When I rode the area was the 2nd week of June. Had great weather, no traffic, no crowds.

Keep seeing these post from those Florida members telling us about the great ride they just had, guess there are no Q's in Florida. Seems like only us snowbound riders have cameras. Of course maybe their not really riding, no pictures no proof.

I spent 33 years as an Automotive Service Manager for Ford and Chrysler dealerships and it was Ford and Chrysler that made the call, not the dealerships. Whenever there was a question about a warranty issue I had to ask the questions the companies asked me. You seem like the kind of person that will talk and discuss the situation with the dealer in a calm intelligent manner. These kind of customers I would bend over backwards to help. Now the ones that came in screaming and threatening me would get no help from me at all. I'm sure it will all work out good for you in the end.

An 86-year-old man goes for a physical. All of his test results come back normal. The doctor says, "Gary everything looks great. How are you doing mentally and emotionally? Are you at peace with God?" Gary replies, "God and I are tight. He knows I have poor eyesight, so he's fixed it so when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, *poof* the light goes on. When I'm done, *poof* the light goes off." "Wow, that's incredible," the doctor says. A little later in the day, the doctor calls Gary's wife. "Marianne, he says, Gary is doing fine but I had to call you because I'm in awe of his relationship with God. Is it true that he gets up during the night and *poof * the light goes on in the bathroom, and when he's done, *poof* the light goes off?" "OH MY GOSH!" Marianne exclaims. "He's peeing in the refrigerator again!!!!"

QUESTION??? I like planning my trips out on my Microsoft streets and trips and avoid x-ways. On any GPS's are you able to download your route or does the GPS always picks the route? Thanks.

Mine was a 2003, rode 24,000 miles in one summer. Loved that bike and someday I WILL have another. 800 miles in a day was nothing. You won't regret it.

I know enough to stop drinking a couple hours before I leave and switch to coffee and ice water and sober up before I drive home, and of course spell check helps. LOL.

With my ex-step daughter I just shook the young mans hand, looked him in the eye and told him. what ever you do to Her I will do to you, and smiled real big. Had no problems. He did have a strange look on his face though.

Sometimes you feel like everyone has diarrhea and you're the last outhouse left in the in the world. Or you realize it's a dog eat dog world and you're wearing milk bone underwear. Today was one of those days. BUT alas the phone rang and my Daughters big sister (from the big brothers big sisters program) called and wanted to take Abigail away tonight. Well I decided to mosey up to the local bar and grill and relax for a spell. Now you single parents understand what it is like to spend day end and day out and your only conversation is with a 12 year old and how you NEED adult interaction. So on a steady diet of Bud Lite Draft and double shots of apple pucker I was interacting. Sooooo with a DJ entertaining us they decided to play stump the drunk (me) by betting if I knew the name of the songs they were playing. I may forget what day of the week it is but I remember my music and the farther back in time they went the more they played into my hand. I somehow became the best buddy of everyone in the bar. ( except for one women that grabbed me in the wrong place and I informed her I was out of 10 foot poles). All in all I had a great night and no matter how I feel in the morning I will look back fondly on this self indulging escape of responsibility I perpetrated tonight. In conclusion with the absence of good riding weather (my normal escape) I found a one time haven in a desolate cold snowy tundra to let the pressures of everyday life pass me by. Yes yes I know this cannot be an everyday solution but it did feel good. You probably didn't want to hear this and most likely couldn't care less but I told you anyway. Time to watch the DUKE in "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" and go to bed. Hope you all have as good of a Sunday as I have plan on having. Good Night.

Has anyone here bought anything on QuiBuds? I haven't signed up yet but have been watching items and it's unbelievable how cheap items sell for and shipping is reasonable. Wanting to know if anyone has won bids and are pleased with the site before I spend $60.00 to get a bid package. Thanks.

progressive spring install
KarlS replied to showmebob's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
The spacer goes on top. Each spring comes with 1 spacer in the box. On my 83VR I did NOT cut the spacers in half because I weigh 300 lbs and wanted it stiffer. I believe the reason members say to cut them in half is to make it easier to get the caps back on. (Someone will correct me if I'm wrong). I had no problem at all screwing the caps back on the fork tubes.- 18 replies

Maybe Bob doesn't want to set a new target because he got his own Q target. Doesn't matter to me if you get your own. Guess if someone else got a Q they could set a new target. My bike is snowed in so I can't help get one at the moment.

WOW, That's a fantastic deal. If I only had the extra right now.

Took until 1:00 to get the pipes thawed out so I had water. Then put more insulation on them. I Hate Winter!!!!! Now that I got that out of my system. Friday night 4 degrees out, midnight, drove over some railroad tracks and heard a boom, then flap flap flap. Punched a big hole in the side wall. Limped up to a local bar and Grill that I know everyone at and asked for a ride home. Did not want to deal with it that night. THANKS to Cap'n Quirk, I called him Saturday morning to give me a ride to change the tire,. When he got to my house I was bad off, sugar was up to 395 and he said I was pertly much out of it. He went up and put my spare on for me. Thanks again. Tire was $152.00-balance-taxes. 225x60x17 not cheap. Once again I Hate Winter.

This is Cap'n Quirk and myself standing in a snow bank in Yosemite mid-June 2006. Was told they just got the road re-opened the day before because of snow. We came into Yosemite on 120 out of Moccasin, that is one great road. Short sleeve during the day and darn cold at night. Yosemite was my favorite place on our West coast trip.
