Good luck on your surgery. Glad you found a surgeon who knew what to do and wanted to do it right away. Hope it helps.

Here in good ole Flint, Michigan (which New York Times said is more dangerous then Afghanistan) you just count your blessings that you were not run over and call it good. If you follow you will get shot. Either the person you are following is a gangster and shoots you, or the person you are following thinks you are the gangster and shoots you. Either way it's better to just ride on.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Yep I'm just gonna go up to someone in a cap and gown and tell them I need to take their picture for a scavenger hunt and post it on the internet. Should be no problem. LOL.

Worth A Watch !! ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Subject: World War II Vets -will you help by just watching this 2 min. video? Keith Leibovitz's youngest nephew is working on a project for WW II veterans And enclosed is a trailer. Please view and forward. They are trying to get 5,000,000 views before Memorial Day. it is pretty poignant and is one of Seth's projects. Kindly forward so more can view it. You need to view the whole thing to be counted. Seth has been working on a full-length feature documentary about a program to honor WWII vets and has now released a trailer, and it would really help out if you watched it in full, and spread it around to other folks who would enjoy it. Working on this has been a very emotional experience, because the story is so, so powerful. I think you'll agree.-Pam Click on link below. http://media.causes.com/1060527?p_id=175378540

You are more then welcome to share the room no matter what time you get there. Been talking to Carbon1 and looks like a Michigan/Canada group are talking about meeting at Exit 15 truck stop off I-75 near Monroe. Word I got today is that they are thinking of leaving Exit 15 at 10:00am. (time not set in stone yet) Unless I can figure something out I cannot leave Flint before 10:00am and if that's the case I will just ride down myself. Room is $69.95 per night. So the room is yours to share.....Karl

Printer has been out of ink because I just don't have the $68.00 to by the 5 cartridge pack of ink. Seen on e-bay a company in California selling a compatible 5 pack with chips for $10.80 and free shipping so I decided to give them a try. They arrived today, so I installed them, did the print tests and printed out a couple of things. They seem to work great. If they don't last as long as the Cannons I can buy 6 sets of these for the price of 1 set of the Cannons. Just so they don't damage the printer.

Same here BUT just read in the paper that the one around here when they went to get it ready for summer they discovered someone had stolen all the copper pipes and brass regulators. Around here you can leave in the morning and come home at night and find all your copper pipes and wiring has been stolen. Three houses have blown up because they stole the gas pipes and left the gas on.

The rubber caps are held on with squeeze clamps, I went to a tool store today and bought a tool that I thought might work. It didn't. So will tackle it at MD. Now if getting my vacuum leak fixed at MD requires me to give assistance with catheter installation, I'm sorry but my VR will just have to leak vacuum and someone will have to leak something else. Out of my element of hands on assistance.
-
I vote to reset it. Very very hard target to get unless you have connections.

Thanks, I have the caps, been trying to replace them myself but just can't get at them.

I have been to maintenance day but haven't had any work done. I need help to finish maintenance work on my 83VR that I am doing and see no way to finish it without removing carbs to get to two bad vacuum rubber caps on right rear and left front cylinder heads. Other two cylinders plugs was easy to get to and they were rotted and torn, I must assume the other two must be bad also. So question is: How do I get on a (list?) to get help on maintenance day so I can replace these rubber plugs or caps. On the 1200 motor about an inch and a half under the rubber caps you take off for synchronizing the carbs are larger rubber caps over (vacuum?) nipples from the cylinder heads. The right rear and left front are out in the open and easy to get to. The left front and right rear can barley be seen and touched with your finger. These are the two I need to replace the rubber caps. Thanks.....Karl

True write up in the Flint Journal. Guess you could also say Ice Cream and Booze don't mix. EGELSTON TOWNSHIP — Jeremy Allen Baldwin probably wishes the tub of lemon chiffon ice cream he allegedly stole from an Egelston Township shop Sunday hadn’t melted during his intoxicated walk back home. Had it not been for “splatters” of melted ice cream leading investigators from Joni’s Cones, 5283 E. Apple, to a partially eaten tub of ice cream and Baldwin’s cell phone, the 22-year-old Egelston Township man may have gotten away with it. http://media.mlive.com/chronicle/news_impact/photo/9518430-small.jpgMuskegon County Jail Jeremy Allen Baldwin, 22. Instead, Baldwin is facing a 10-year felony for allegedly breaking into the ice cream shop early Sunday morning during what police say was a drinking bender. Baldwin, of 859 Chandler, was arraigned Tuesday in Muskegon County's 60th District Court before Chief Judge Harold F. Closz III on one count of breaking and entering of a building with intent. A preliminary examination is slated for 9:30 a.m. May 10. Closz set his bond at $20,000 cash or surety and — noting that Baldwin is unemployed — granted him a public defender. According to the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office report, Baldwin had been drinking “whiskey and beer all night” Saturday and early Sunday before walking from a nearby party to the ice cream shop. Police said Baldwin allegedly entered the shop through a window and once inside, ate ice cream and ransacked the place before walking off with the 3-gallon tub of lemon chiffon. Investigators at the scene found Baldwin's shoes and followed “ice cream splatters on the sidewalk” eventually to a cell phone that was traced back to Baldwin, whose wallet was also located in the general area. On Tuesday, Mike Bowen, 26, one of the owner’s of Joni’s Cones, said Sunday's incident was "odd." Bowen discovered the break-in had occurred Sunday morning when he drove by the shop and saw a pair of shoes outside the door and screens ripped off the windows. Upon further inspection, Bowen realized nothing — other than ice cream — had been taken. “He took a 3-gallon tub of lemon chiffon ice cream that he left on Apple Avenue,” Bowen said. “He also ate some of a 3-gallon tub of Blue Moon that was left inside.” Bowen said because the shop hadn’t been opened for the season, there was “no money there.” “I don’t know what he planned on gaining from it, besides a trip to jail,” Bowen said. Once investigators identified Baldwin as a suspect Sunday, they spoke to the still-intoxicated man at his mother’s Chandler Street home and again at the sheriff’s office, authorities said. Baldwin told police during the interview that: “If you found my shoes next to the ice cream shop door, then I must have broken into it,” the report said. “He said that it wouldn’t surprise him or anyone else if he did break into this business because he does do stupid things like that when he is drunk,” the report said. Baldwin told investigators that he has a “drinking problem” and on Sunday likely “blacked out from all the alcohol he drank.” A friend who had driven Baldwin to the party Saturday night was interviewed Sunday. That man told police he is aware of Baldwin’s “problem with drinking” and referenced a previous night of drinking at a friend’s Twin Lake home. “He said that the next day they found him miles away sleeping in someone’s yard, and he had no idea how he got there,” the report said.
