  1. You ask for a finger. Here ya go. (is a thumb a finger?) This place does grow on ya don't it
  2. I can tell you that from Indy to Decatur via Rt 36 is a nice ride. It's 2 lane and a decent road. Goes through covered bridge area of west Indiana.
  3. Now that's a dog. Of course I may be a 'LITTLE' biased:178:
  4. Prayers & good will to you and yours through this. Whatever the outcome is, know that he will be judged by a much higher court and the Ultimate Judge eventually. I'm sure the Angels will help one of their own.
  5. Dogs are like bikes.Once you have one, you feel lost without one. Or 2 or :178:
  6. Great looking pup. I like the expression in last pic. Sorta looks like 'what is that thing and what are you doing?'
  7. I can relate to your back pain. Pinched nerves do odd things. Hope you have a quick recovery. I have never busted my butt, but I know it's cracked.
  8. I must commend you Mr. Nelson on your skill to get peoples ATTENTION!! (Not to mention scare the bejeebers out of us)You knew if you posted your OTHER site was for sale, probably not a handfull of VR's would have given it a second thought. The way you posted I bet got every member to read it. Good luck on the sale
  9. If you get a thin piece of plexiglass you can have artwork done on back side so what you want shows through the front. Just my
  10. 27 MPG is a small price to pay to watch Ninja Kids cry. I bet you could still outrun 'em with the carb mods & get better mpg
  11. That's why I'll be @ the 6. I was young once. I think? I can't remember. What were we talking about?
  12. Can anyone give a review on the Motel 6? Is it a decent place in a good neighborhood. I wouldn't want to have to stay up all night guarding bike. Thanks
  13. Thanks for a Great tip. Anything to make cagers more aware is a +. Ride like your life depends on it. It Does!
  14. Does she have a sister? Count your blessings. A Mrs. that likes shiny things other than Rocks.
  15. IF you can get both surfaces flat, Velcro works great. Did this to another brand bike and it lasted a few years. If you still have old panels, I'd try a fix before buying used. My luck is buy used and it breaks during installation.
  16. Lucky day for you. Imagine a 2 lane road when an oncoming vehicle loses a trailer. As a bike rider, I'm sure you know we have to be VERY aware of our surroundings.
  17. I live out in the country where it was SLOW dialup or Sat. I have Wild Blue through Dish. Equipment was cheaper than Hughs Net. I don't do a great deal on line, so speed has not been to bad. Only downside is weather. A storm between here and satelite will result in no internet. Usually doesn't last long but is a little annoying. I have notice this usually happens at the last few minutes of a Ebay auction I am in.
  18. Don. Our home is 1800 sq.ft. in mid Illinois. Electric heat is ceiling radiant. Small wires in a grid. Our $/KW was .05 but they just increased it to .07. Last month heat cost was $211. Although electic may be cheaper now, will the cost of retrofitting and the possible rate increase still beat propane? Electric is slow to heat up but temp is steady. Forced air has a wider temp swing. Luck to you whatever you do
  19. Is this the voice of experience speaking?
  20. WOOO HOOO!!! Drunk & neked time AGAIN. Count me in!
  21. All I have to say is be afraid. Be very, very afraid.
  22. Before offering any suggestions on repair, is the crack/missing piece visible from the outside or strickly in the bottom of trunk?
  23. Great! Swap meets are a good time. You never know what will show up. Many things I didn't realize I need until I see them. As far as limiting items to bike related, why not just reserve your space and bring whatever. Just my The fine art of shopping: Spending money you don't have for stuff you don't need!
  24. Acetone will eat right through clear coat. (and anything else it contacts)There is an aluminum protector called Zoops. Works great but kinda pricey.
  25. You're NOT nutz. Just practical. You need a lot less room for living than storing and working on toys. I know 2 guys in the exact same boat. One lives in a converted warehouse, and the other built a 32X50 garage with apartment upstairs. Like previously stated, if the date doesn't approve, that tells you a lot right up front.
