I bought two last year and love them. I lost one so I'll need another, but will order 2 please. 2 for me please.

Welcome back Gentlemen.... Good to hear that you had a great time and that the rain did not discourage you from your trip.
-
Rosie, I use a beer koosie and cut out the bottom inner circle and push it down over my gas cap. I saw this on other bikes at the Kitchenr Rally last year. At 140km/h the bottle of water doesn't even shake rattle or shimmy. You just have to remember when you gas up and take it off that you don't drive away and leave it sitting on the gas pump like I did with my excellent one hand operation Venture Rider stainless steel mug. I'm still mad at myself. Luckily my wife lets me use hers now.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do drink water while riding the bike. I love riding and I don't want to have to stop just to have a sip or wet my lips sort of speak. My other bike I never thought of a cup holder and always had to stop to take a drink. With this beautiful comfortable bike, now I don't have to stop. I can keep on riding in comfort and have a drink at the same time. I love it.

I just bought one at Costco that fits both seats great.

Don, I am sorry to hear about your vision now. That must be very frightening on its own. I will pray as the others are that in November you will get postive news from the Doctors and that your sight will not get much worse. Dave

Wayne and Robin, I also would like to say thank you again, for a great ride and day. I'm sure glad my repairs where done in time to go along for the ride.
-
Wayne, my bike is fixed and I'm back on the road. I see from your first thread that you are leaving at 9am. Could you give me your address to punch into my GPS so I can get there without stopping and using a map? And besides, I don't have a map that will help me around Caladonia. How long should it take for me to get to your house from Toronto? Thanks Dave
-
Yes Wayne the Mechanic is doing it for free, the cost is of course the time delay. If I knew how to take the tire off that would be quicker, but I don't and the way I generally do things for the first time are always the wrong way, so I figured I had better not attempt it.

I have an extra vertibrae in my tail bone so I hear your pain. At the last Maintenace Day at Freebirds, I was lucky enough to be pointed in the direction where Rick Butler was doing his seat modifications. He cut a V in my seat where my tail bone would be and replaced the thin foam with a thicker memory foam. It now feels like I am riding on air. No pain or discomfort in my tail bone area. Good luck with what ever you do to solve your problem.

Wayne, I'd love to ride with you guys again, but I'm still waiting to get my flat front tire fixed. It doesn't look like the mechanic will be comming over to taking it off until Wednesday or Thursday and then not returning until next week to reinstall it. If it is sooner I will post and attend.

If I didn't already own one, reading that article would make me want to go out and buy one. I better get my tire fixed/changed so I can ride again. I'm missing the good weather.
-
Gary, Congratulations for you and your Son and new Daughter inlaw. The picture of you and Mary show that the weather also gave its blessing. Dave

Fantastic job you did. Congratulations and enjoy the heck out of it now.

Brad, it's good to hear you had a great vacation. Sorry I will be missing you and Lonna on Aug. 22nd, I would have loved to have been there for your meet and send off with all the Venture gang (crowd, maybe sounds better). I hope your move goes as smooth as a move can go. Dave

Well I made it home from Espanola late last night in first gear. I was very lucky, I was almost home, but got off the Highway well before I should have because of traffic. Then my steering was acting up. I had a hard time leening into a turn. I heard something metal hit my radiator or engine area so I stopped and looked at my steering and tire. Everything looked ok, so i kept riding, but the steering was getting worse giving a bad shake. I had to drop it down into 1st gear and go slow to keep the bike up and straight. As I pulled into my driveway and took my tire presure I only had 10lbs in it. Boy was I lucky. I put air in with my car mini compressor and I could hear the air leaking out of my tire and then found the little hole. The nail or what ever it was must have been blown out and that was the noise I heard. I had just bought a MC lift two weeks ago so lucky me again, up it went as I don't think I'll have time to get the tire fixed or changed before I leave for Europe in two days. Other bad news I lost or rather forgot my Venture Rider mug at a gas station after filling up. I leave mine attached to the gas cap with a beer foam holder so I always have to remove it when gasing up. Nuts.......am I mad at myself.

Hello All, Summer has finally arrived in Ontario. Great riding weather now. I went for a ride with Relic and his wife Dianne yesterday to Meninite country and you couldn't have asked for better weather or friends. I'm off to Espanola in an hour on my bike and returning on Tuesday. Then the Europe trip on Friday without the bike, I'll be back packing with my wife and one of my sons for the first week and a bit, then finishing with a weeks cruise of the Mediterainian I'll miss out on the Meet and Farewell for Brad and Lonna on Aug 22nd along with countless other things that will be happening on the Venture site. I wish everyone an excellent end of the summer filled with activities and great weather. I look forward to getting back on the site in September and catching up with what everyone has been doing. Dave

Look What Annie Did Today....................

Annie, congratulations, we all know how great you are feeling. And the Voyager kit looks excellent on your bike. Enjoy your many rides ahead. -
The Kuryakyn long horns attach to your engine guard and are fully adjustable to spin forward to your front wheel for a tall person or spin to the rear for a shorter person. I have a set and love them. Instant relieve from the engine heat is another huge bonus. They are very easy to install. They just clamp onto your engine guards. As a tip, don't tighten them fully untill you know they are in the right place for your leg length. Good luck and enjoy

I'm glad you are liking it. Where are the pictures?

Carl, that knee still looks pretty bad. I hope you are able to get in to a physiotherapist to get some good excercises to make sure it will heel fully. You don't want to be doing something that will make it take longer to heel. (That is experience talking).

James as others are praying so are we. I pray your recovery will be fast and full with as little pain as possible.

I bought two of Freebirds mugs and they are excellent. My wife drinks coffee and tea, and it really keeps them hot. I only drink water and it definately keeps that cold. I keep mine on the gas cap with a beer cooler holder and my wifes is attached to the passenger hand rails with a logistics material neoprene cup holder.
