  1. Yea...well she wasn't sleeping beside YOUR bed....
  2. Heck...I didn't even know about the bikini contest....I don't even know where mine is...I'll find it though.
  3. Don't worry...we can change all that.
  4. hmmmmmm...no.....sounds about right.
  5. HEY HEY HEY....this is not just one of the maintenance days....this is the original one and only Freebird's maintenance day. Sure wish you could make it.
  6. LOL.....no problem. Just wanted to be sure.
  7. If it's an '08, it should have about 3-4 years left on the warranty, depending upon the date that it was registered. They come with a 5 year unlimited miles warranty. As for the value, I really am shooting from the hip here but I'm going to say somewhere in the $10,000 - $10,500 range. Somebody will surely correct me if I'm wrong. After doing a bit of looking...I may well be a bit low on that number.
  8. Did you see the post right above yours where Rick told you that he has one?
  9. Also try taking the key in and out a couple of times and then turning it off and on a few times. They usually go through a stage where they have to be in just the right position before it will work instead of just going bad all at once.
  10. That depends upon rider weight, passenger weight, etc. I usually run mine about 40 psi with passenger and pulling a trailer that is usually loaded too heavy.
  11. Just have him drag that old one lunger to MD. We can set him up right beside Pioneer trailer and the pinstriper.
  12. The first thing I would suspect would be the rear shock.
  13. If that is the rubber covered switch, it is the one that came with the lights. That's what mine came with and the standard instructions included mounting it beside the power port and which wires to tap into depending upon how you wanted them to function. The instructions did not mention a relay so most were installed without one.
  14. Yes, but the question is, can you post using the different colors and etc.? He said that he wasn't able to.
  15. Personally, I think it is BS. I've bought many tires online and have never had a local dealer refuse to install them. I take my wheels off to save money and take the wheels and new tires to the dealer. I don't use the local Yamaha dealer but he would do it. The local Honda dealer just happens to do it much cheaper and while I wait.
  16. I agree also. I have never liked the lights moved out. Not only that but I think that it increased the likelihood of your lower deflectors breaking off. They have a rubber bumper that should touch the upper fork covers. That prevents them from vibrating in the wind too much. They can still break but having the bumper touching the forks sure prolongs the life of those brackets.
  17. Sorry....I can't help you with this one. Hopefully somebody else can. I have IE and Firefox installed and use Firefox all the time. I've never tried Google Chrome.
  18. No, unfortunately nobody that I know of has done a writeup on this. I don't think that that many people have changed the springs in the RSV. I know that Rick Butler has but I don't think he took pictures.
  19. Sorry about that. It actually is automated and should have happened instantly. I think what happened is that you did it precisely during the time that we had the server trouble a few days ago. I just took care of it and you are marked as a supporting member now.
  20. No, they are a cheap copy using the ripped off design of the original provide by our very own Carbon_one.
  21. No, Eddie was doing the large patches but there was another guy, not a member, doing the flags. I have one on my bike. I'll take a picture later today but it's just a black flag with our usual logo in silver.
  22. I don't think so. I think he went out of business. I'll see if I can find a new vendor.
  23. I've not heard of anybody doing it but it sure sounds like an interesting project.
  24. Yea, it may be. You can always send him a private message here though.
  25. Actually it's only the cheaper "classic" that has the pickguard loaded pickups that you can easily swap out. This is the "standard" and has no pickguard. Seems a bit strange that the CHEAPER model has that feature but I like the finishes and etc. on this one much better.
