My 2006 RSTD is not top heavy but a bit of a beast to manuver at low speeds.

Agreed Wayne.All the local merchants look forward to the main rally andit is a boost to the economy but the city is also grapeling with the ABB which forces businesses to close and scares off the tourist for memorial Day weekend.

Chirping and Whining

Putting my RSTD in the shop for chirping and whining.Even with my Bubs it is driving me crazy.The dealed wants to keep it two weeks....can anyone think of why he would need it two weeks? -
I wish they had the balls to stand up to the specfic Bike rally that is giving them problems(Atlantic Beach) instead of going after both rallys.I have a condo there and understand what the problem is but do not penalize the ones that are not causing problems.There was a murder this year of a business owner during the Atlantic Beach rally that got this rolling.

Even if ones tire pressure is not fully inflated the tire should not seperate if that is their excuse.This sounds like a dangerous tire for a motorcycle.Thanks for the heads up.

Mabery Mill ,my cabin, and Meadows of Dan(the town) are around mile marker 176.If you come bring your camera.Mabery Mill is the most photgraphed venue on the parkway.

I may be at my cabin in Meadows of Dan Virginia which is on the parkway.Let me know when you will be in that area.

Lots of great riding in Virginia on the Blueridge parkway that crosses over I-77.Blue ridge parkway north will take you to Maberys mill which is historic and has very good breakfast.A little further North is Tuggles gap which has great food and on weekends has bands and attracts alot of bikers.All this is within 30 miles of I 77.I think it would be well worth a day long or over night stay.It is some of the best riding anywhere. You could also take the parkway south into NC and hit 16 south which would allow you to bypass some of I-77 and take you to Charlotte.

I just had mean city reshape my seats,add memory foam and a gel pad,recover,and add studs.I was very pleased with his work!My butt could not be happier!
