    I have put some chrome on mine but without seeing on the bike it is hard to see where the best bang for you buck is.I have put on the carb cover,chrome battery cover,passenger floorboards and oil cap.Kur longhorn and kur hand grips

    I was on I-40 near Asheville in my SUV and had to run over a truck recap.I had no wiggle room and hit it about 65mph in a SUV which did fine.It made me think if I would have been on the bike what would have happened.I wish they wold give truckers an incentive not to run recaps.

    I do not ride two up so really the only thing I want to add is an Ipod if I can ever figure out how to.The RSTD works for me.

    My dealer was pretty up front with me.He stated it would take care of about 60 to 70% of the whine and where there was a whine it would be at very low RPM which has been the case.I still here it from time to time but it does not annoy me like it once did.No 100% fix.

    There is a shortage especially in western NC.When you can get gas it is running betwen 3.89 to 4.29 per gallon.It is supposed to start getting beter tomorrow.

    The lights are nice but it took more than a few minutes to wire correctly.There is not a lot of room to run the wire between the tail light and turn signal.

    Utopia ...I have one from Diamond R but understand they quit making them.Both are great backrest.

    I was a long time Marine and my advise is to keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut in boot camp and you will do fine.

    I had a guy go down in front of me this weekend in N.wilksboro which the mountains of NC,I ride there alot and noticed the state had been dumping alot of gravel to fill the the shoulders of the roads where we had rainfall that had washed it away.The gravel gets kicked back on the roads.It was unusually bad this weekend.

    I was there last weekend.If you like twisties and alot of them you will love it.It it not forgiving for the faint of heart so ride safe I think I would enjoy it more on a smaller bike.

    Does that mean I can have have my ipod tunes on the disk and plug it into the 550 and they will play ?Then I need a headset unit that runs from hemet into the 550.Is that the way it works?

    I have a rstd so I have no speakers.Can I play my ipod through the GPS and buy a headset for my existing helmet?How does all this work together?

    That is sobering.I checked mine today.I saw a wreck this weekend in the mountains where someone filled a pothole in a 25MPH curve with gravel.The gravel was scattered all over the road and the guy in front of me wiped out.

    Along with the snobby people there are alot of Deer roaming Hilton Head which are fun to see but not on your bike
