All my grand-sons would 'kill' for that machine,,,,, they just have to put up with old lawn tractors,,, one family is into rebuilding Wheel Horse tractors. And that is another reason why Marca and I have given up with presents. We (North Americans) got all we need and mostly what we want, and so don't really appreciate a present anymore. So we do other things to make times special.

Now consider if you should win big money,,, say 2 mil or more. So you won, and then you celebrate,, ok, that is over and you have decided that some goes to charity, and some goes to friends and family,,, however that happens,,, now on with life. I'm your friend and we used to go out for supper together, the four of us, once a month. This month though, because you won, you offer to pay. That's nice, but who pays next month,, well we pay our own, but you arrived in Lexus, and we still drive our Sunfire. You also would like to go to something better than the greasy spoon we thought was good enough before,,,, get the picture, soon enough we don't go out together any more. This is only one scenario, as a winner your life will change because of these happenings, which will happen more and more frequently. Actually, you start to loose your friends, little by little, but seeing as we all need friends, you'll go to look for others,,,, those who have money and are rich like you,,,,, but you are not in their class, you don't think the same and don't talk the same and don't have the same background, and they know you won your stuff, so you are still kept in a different class. You may be friends for a while, but only until the well runs dry. Now who do you have as friends,,,, the ones you had when you were 'poor' are gone, the rich ones are not really heart to heart friends,, so you are left alone with your money and you can't buy LOVE. I like my friends here,,, I don't want to loose them,,, so I don't buy no lottery tickets. On the other side,,, if the lotteries would quit paying for all the social services, we could do that as a community and we would all be much better off for it.

Well first of all in answer to training,,,, yep we all train, to some degree, but none of really know how that will play out in real life until we get into the situation that was trained for, until then, and only then, will we know for sure how that training really worked. The training that didn't work for the rider in this case, is defensive riding,, if he trained for it,. Never mind the yellow lines, sure it's illegal, but he missed point number one,,,, the guy in the Lexus. As said before, the rider needed to consider the Lexus. First of all, it's a Lexus and born to GO,,,, secondly the Lexus was on the guy in front of him so he wanted to GO,,,, third, was the Lexus driver going to check his side view before he pulled out,,,,, fourth, would the Lexus want to outrun a bike, ( after all, 2 had already passed him, so who was going to be the next),,,, fifth, when the rider pulled out to pass, he thought he had it made and forgot to double check the Lexus, had he done point #5 he would have time to avoid going down, but at this time he was going and thought he had it over the Lexus,,,,, wroooong!!!!!

Yep,,, follow the instructions or the clear will run, and if it don't run it will peel. Temp, time and humidity are all part of the process. Contrary to thoughts, the higher the humidity the faster it dries.

83 Venture...help!!!!

All good stuff so far,,, also check the connectors on the left side of the engine under the side cover, one has 3 wires and the other has 5 wires. Take them apart for a look see, clean them and put on dielectric grease. If you see results of burning, they need to be replaced. The 3 wire can be soldered, but the 5 wire should be replaced. -

Change your brake lines,,,, you won't feel the sponginess caused by old rubber lines, but you'll sure notice the difference once you put in the SS braided,,,, like WOW!

Don't need to make coffee on the scoot, unless you ride a slomachine. First gens have to wait up for the others anyways, so lots of time to stop for java.
