    AHHHHH the benefits of snow,,,,, it's pure white, it quiets the neighborhood, it keeps people indoors,,, it kills the gnats and mosquitoes, it does a number on flies. It comes and goes and makes Christmas pretty. It's fun to slide on and sled on, because of snow we have Hockey and skiing, and snow-boarding, and horse drawn sleighs. It keeps some people south and makes others head south, and so leaves more room for the rest of us. The cold gets rid of the heat, and makes one look forward to the heat once more. It gives a guy time to do work on his scoot,,, and that is most important!!!

    We have it all,,, straight roads, curved roads, roads without straight, hills and valleys, country and city, rain and sunshine, back roads and super slabs. We're from Southern Ontario,,, and we get Snow, and warm weather, but mostly it's paradise!! You just don't realize how much a person can appreciate warm weather, until we got rid of the snow, or how good a straight road is, until after being on curves all day long. We don't have any real mountains, but we're working on that, and I'm sure with the smart government we have now and how they can spend money, it won't be long. We're also a bit short of dessert, but we do have a little sand and that tends to lay the bike down, so Arkansas can keep that.

    Well that is probably because you're getting older and miss the flash as it goes by you. You are erroneously thinking that it would be easy to notice a 1st gen as it passes you, so you would be looking for an image, not a flash. And as Gary said, it can be easily enough cured.

    There are various sizes to shirts nowadays,, small, medium, large, xlarge, xxlarge, xxxlarge, and then there is TENT. Now why did I think of that just now??? I wonder if we was looking at the small version or the larger version, could it be that they make one for some VentureRiders?

    You have yourself a great time down there Gary, and don't worry about Big Tom and the snow he loves. He just likes to make a lot of noise and watch himself type. If he really didn't like the snow, he would move to the downtown in an apartment right above his work.

    What is always a good experience, is to lend them out,,, then when you need to use it, you can call Dingy and order a new bunch, just in case you should lend one out again.

    Marca listens to all her books that she downloads onto her i-pod from the local library. Seems to work great for her. The program is called overdrive, and you can find it on your library website. I don't think it cost her a lot, seeing as I can't seem to remember the cost,,, but that might have something to do with 'matter'.

    Hey don't loose any sleep over it,,,, every girl,,,, well most girls were somebody else's girlfriend at sometime or other,,,, so was your present partner,,,, life goes on. Just because it didn't work for you, has no bearing on what will or will not work for someone else,,, that the idea of dating,, find out before it gets messy.

    Was the clutch working before you started this? You are working on the left side handle bar,, right? and the bleeder screw is right down the center of the engine on the left side,, right?

    To both you and Don....... what can I say, I feel for you but can't quite reach you? It about right, throwing in what Saddlebum has said. So yes, even though each of us may have sensed somewhat of a loss when we had a patch on,,,, we really don't have a grasp on what it would be like without an eye altogether. Glad to have you guys talk about it, and share what it is like. You'll still be in our prayers for the future. I guess the upside would be the appreciation you have for your good eye, where most of us would take sight for granted, you may find real blessings in being able to see at all. God Bless Carl
