Seems everybody and their brother and wife are coming down with something around here,,,, it seems to get into the throat and shut them up. IT sure is quiet around here............... where have I heard that before??????

Joe is right,,,a gun is much too hot for this job, along with the fact that it is super clumsy to work with. Get a small soldering iron, and a wire stand to go with it. Although I have an actual iron I might suggest CTC #58-6310-0. It looks kind of handy.

Check to make sure the original resistor is not in there, Two resistors in line don't make for a good tool to do this job. -
