1. $95.00 from buckeye proformance or sometimes on ebay
2. I live in Saint Charles and i bought my 87 venture royale from a guy that lives in Hannibal about 5 years ago. snarley bill and wrongway live in saint charles and a lot of others are in this state. if you go to the community link then to members list to see who else is in the state.
3. Mike i just thought that i would let you know that i also have made a donation before so i know your pain. It hurts to see our bikes on their side. when you get ready to do mods to your bike Earl has good deals on mods and parts. One of the best ones i did was the brake mod. Also i would do the clutch kit earl sells, great price and good parts.
4. will this special trailer be painted yellow like the special bus we see on the roads going to school
5. I think you need to do one more thing, i think it's a rule here that when you dump your bike you need to donate to the i droped my bike fund:doh: just sayin. lol. hope everything is ok with your bike.
6. i wander how many mile you get on the soles of your boots before they wear out:whistling:
7. randy i was looking on pinwalls site and seen two fuel pumps one for a 1200 for $29.95 +11.33 shipping # 190491826803 and one for a1300 for 39.95 + 13.33 shipping #130449322101
8. When i pulled mine with a cheep puller it bent the puller , then i bought the one pcw sells for the vmax flywheel and i mounted it up tightened it with a 1/2 inch impact driver then hit the end of the centerbolt with a medium hammer and it poped right off. worked so good i installed it on a second one and it poped off just like the first one . i havent used the puller since but it was worth the money.
9. is that oil under that bike? click on pic to see better
10. sorry Dave i know your pain i had a old gl1ooo goldwing i bought in 76 that had the same problem your bike has ,i really miss that bike you just remember Brake Pad started it with the 1st gen comment thats my story and i am sticking too it. lol.
11. sorry about your friends house , but i think it was a harley because they always are leaking oil and gas, so Brake pad you must be wrong because first gens dont leak oil or any fluids you must have it confused with a 2 gen i say this because i seen a post of a 2 gen yesterday on this site with oil everywhere under it:stirthepot:
12. I missed it to money sent.
13. I think it's a trick question there is no way to keep them happy unless you have a money tree in the yard so they can do nonstop shopping. other than that your out of luck.
14. I also hook mine up to the battery posts so i concure with the rest of these guys.
15. i bought one last summer and i love it, it works just like it says on webbikeworld.com. It was easy to pair with my phone and my zumo gps , the volume gets pretty loud but stays clean and clear. the speakers sound great listening to music and you can awnser phone calls by pushing one button. sounds better than my friends scald rider brand and others i have heard. I looked and tried all the others on the market and the best was the Sena SMH-10. you won't regret buying one:thumbsup:
16. Hey earl i recieved mine today they look great, now all i have to do is install them:thumbsup:
17. Thank's snaggletooth for the pictures , earl said he shipped mine the same day he sent yours so mine should get here today. Earl did a great job in making these and with a manual mill it had to be a lot of labor involved. like i said THANK"S EARL YOU THE MAN Ed.
18. You can see in the video when the back tire hits the end of the ramp it bounces the rider off to the left side of the seat causing the bike to fall to that side. That is why i use a 10ft. long x 4ft. wide wheel chair ramp to load my bike into my pickup truck, plenty of room on the sides to put your feet down to help balance the bike going in and off the truck and it's rated for 1100 pounds.
19. Earl is still making mine , so it's good to here some of you got yours so mine should be done soon. right grasshopper. like earl said we need pictures of the ones that got there's mounted so the rest of us have something to look at while we wait for ours to get to us. thank's Earl for your time . ED
20. go to the classified sec click on member vendors then click rick butler and there you have the seat bolts you want.
21. Don glad you and pat got to spend time with jason ,and i like his new bike. Now i have a face to go with the name. I know you two are proud of Jason, and i thank him for his service. My cousin was an airforce recrutier and he loved the time he spent in the airforce as im sure so does jason. have a great christmas and a happy new year. Ed aka cap'n eddie
22. I had a great time this last time and meet alot of new friends and had a great time, i even learned how to check to see if someone has sit in the seats of a new car from snarley Bill so i will put this on my calendar. i hope to see all that was there and to meet some more new friends.
23. The awnser is to take paper holder and put something on it to make the inside of the t paper drag so i doesn't unroll.
24. like you said yamaha said the 1st gen toped out at 136, i can tell you that is not true. mine will top out at 139, just ask the nice police man that clocked me this summer. He even let me go because he got a call from his dispatcher and had to leave to get to a breakin call. lucky me because it would have been very hard on the wallet.
25. Dennis it won't affect it , in fact it should breath a little better. I replaced my mufflers with some jardine rumblers and it runs much better and i didn't have to rejet. So you should be fine.
