  1. jeff i hope you heal fast ,just don't get too frisky trying to do to many things around the house. with that said when we drop our bikes we donate to the fund. So do we have to donate when we fall down? :rotf: get well soon jeff.
  2. i have used my sena bluetooth set and have synced to other non sena bluetooth sets before, have you tried to sync yours to your scala's
  3. I mentioned the hammer trick in a post when i pulled mine off about 2 years ago. first attemped with old puller that broke then bought a puller from pcw racing made for the VMAX flywheel tightend it with 1/2 inch impact and hit shaft of puller with hammer and it came off first hit. worked so good i tryed it on a second bike with same out come.
  4. Eck dont you have a phone to wash, wait you already done that (a couple times). the reason they leave goldwings alone is they can't get under the tupperware:stirthepot:
  5. just renewed mine also ,where can you go and get the entertainment you get here:rotf: plus the info for your bikes . besides i had to renew to see if yammer dan ever gets his garage done
  6. i have one question , here in mo. to get plates new or renewed you have to get your bike or car inspected and they check for all lights to work hi and low beams how do you get yours to pass. with no hi beam.
  7. i'll stay here in mo. it's 77 and sunny in st. charles,mo. and has been for over a week with rain some days but mostly sunny hope it stays that way. hope you guys up north get warmer weather soon. just don't say the bad word s--- anymore you keep it up there.
  8. I installed a odyssey 680 in my 76 gl 1000 goldwing 7 years ago it sat all winter with no charger and it will starts right up . best battery i ever bought and will buy one for my 87VR when it needs a new one. As for the deka i need to know more info and how long will it last. going on 8 years on the odyssey so it would have to out last that to get me to buy one.
  9. Well im thinking you must be harley brain washed . i have a friend who bought two harleys in 2010 and i have rode both one is a fat boy and the other a sportster, both seemed to ride ok but i like my 87 first gen better for handling. i have owned five harleys and the new ones are way better than them, but on my friend and his wifes third ride on these bikes me and another friend had to stop and pick up a tail light cover that fell off the fatboy and five miles later picked up the chrome coil cover off the sportster. when we pulled up to him at the next stop and held up the parts he wanted to know whos they were and the look on his face when we said they were his he could not beleave us until he got off and seen for himself. mind you i am not bashing anyone for what they ride, but just know what works for me . my friend likes his harleys we just have to pick up parts sometimes. too much vibration for this old guy.
  10. bill you know the rules we need pictures. i have heard about this bike but no pictures,
  11. I bought a odyssey about 7years ago and put it in my gl 1000 goldwing and sold the bike to a friend 4 years ago when i bought my 87 VR and the wing still has the same battery in it and it starts up every time. bought it for $84.00 at that time, and that was money well spent. In my 87 vr i use a battery tender on it during the winter for 4 years with out a problem. i had another charger that worked ok but the battery tender brand works much better. I also like the non acid batteries better, no acid to get on anything.
  12. Bill if it gets too fast for you i could stop by and ride it for you , thats what friends do.:whistling:
  13. I plan on being there Bill , and your arm looked fine when i saw you and linda at mickyDs
  14. And this is why i bought a phone that can be used as a hot spot to conect to my wifi system on my netbook . had too many problems like freebird. no more problems .If the hotel conection dont work i use my hot spot on my phone and problem solved.
  15. If you go back to post #16 i had same problem took conector off relay cleaned blue/white wire pins and that fixed mine also. if you run the other wire to solenoid like frankd said be sure to have bike out of gear because it will start in any gear just like mine does. glad you got it working. I have not had any problems from mine since doing this, but still have backup system hooked up just in case it happens again.
