  1. Jack, Sending paypal in a few minutes for a PC680.
  2. Hey Chuck, Glad to see you're still around, since we haven't heard from you in a looooooooonnnggg time. IMHO you should look at getting a 1st gen. Mine sat in the garage from October with no charger on it and two weeks ago I went out to see if she'd start. Turned the key, gave her a little choke, hit the starter and she started right up. Sorry if I make you feel bad. Want me to ride over and see if I can get yours started? :rotf: Good luck buddy, I hope it's nothing serious.
  3. Drury Lane?:rotf:
  4. We were at the Thunder over Louisville last year. Great air show and awesome fireworks. Not making it this year, wife and I have both been sick with this flu or whatever it is for two weeks now. Maybe next year. Last year was warmer and a nice weekend for riding.
  5. Hey Brad, Glad you got your bike home. I kept your secret as well as the others did. Hope to see you two on it in the near future. But you owe me a couple M&Es down here as we've been to many up that way. It may be awhile as Sue says I have painting to do first........ Light side, darkside? Welcome back to the "right" side brother.....:stirthepot::stirthepot::rotf::rotf:

    trailer

I agree, that's a great deal. I bought a 1985 model in 2006 for $900.00. It pulls great, you don't even know it's there. This one looks even better than mine. Mine is just the white. Someone would be very happy with that.
  7. BUT you can buy the car suction cup mount online. I did and we use it a lot. Comes in very handy.
  8. Our condolences go out to Mark's family. They'll be in our prayers. Kenny, you are a shining example of a true friend, thanks to you for all you have done for Mark and his family. Kevin & Sue
  9. I just reserved rooms for us and 93 Venture. We'll be there sometime Friday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing old friends again and meeting some more new ones. Anyone coming from the west on Friday across northern Indiana let us know and maybe we can meet up and ride in together.
  10. It's a balmy -2 or so here. Lots of wind and blowing snow. came home today to find a flat tire on my truck. It's gonna wait until tomorrow when the wind is supposed to die down. This bitter cold sucks!!!!
  11. maybe you need to get a "parts" jeep.....:rotf::rotf:
  12. Cool, Bill, here's my , good luck!
  13. Got this taken care of. Thanks to those that offered. I appreciate it.
  14. Tell you what, usually two members would swap bells so they didn't use one that they bought, that's bad luck. If you don't have a bell we can work something else out. I'll swap you a Guardian bell and my 1990 Venture Royale even up for your 07 RSV, you won't owe me a thing! Let me know if it's a deal. Unless you've got something else to trade I might be interested in?
  15. I have a Guardian Bell I'd like to swap if anybody else is interested. Let me know here or PM.
  16. Congratulations to both to both of you! Starting the new generation of Ventureriders...COOL!
  17. We have both and I think we enjoy the wide screen tv a little bit more than the trailer. You'll like having one but your wife will love having it, everything can go......
  18. Trust me, it's easier to buy the trailer....
  19. Now Brad, just make sure you play with your own ding-a-lings.......:rotf::rotf:There was even a song aboout it...
  20. nice looking bike, next best thing to a 1st gen.....:rotf: Did the previous owner have a midget that rode where that second trunk is? That would explain why it has a backrest on it.....:rotf: Enjoy it, that would be a great ride.
  21. nope, I haven't had it out lately. Been considering some things I want to work on before spring. Guess I'll have to get busy here shortly.....
  22. I've had 2, a Gold 87 and the two tone Blue 90 I have now. Both are nice bikes, the Blue is awesome, stands out very nicely. It has more than enough power and will go a lot faster than I ever need to. Riding 2up, fully loaded bags and pulling a full trailer and I still got 40+ mpg. You can't beat that. I'll have the chance to check out an 83 as soon as my brother-in-law brings his down so we can get it running again.
  23. I don't know, can you repair a 2nd gen. I know you can a 1st gen but it seems all the 2nd gens get totaled....:stirthepot:
  24. Kit, You need to install the CD on your computer and register your unit with Garmin. then you can check to see if there's an update available for your software. I bought mine in October and there was already an update for the software. You'll also need it to update the software in the unit itself. Odds are it still has the 2007 software.
  25. Jerry, I pull a trailer with my 90 VR and I only lose about 2 mpg even when it's fully loaded. We pulled it to Colorado last summer 2up with the bike and trailer fully loaded. Ran about 40mpg there and back. Moose was pulling his Aspen camper which I know is heavier and he got quite a bit worse mileage than us. It does increase the stopping distance quite a bit. I also keep my tires (Dunlop Elite 2) at max prressure and check them every time before we ride. Also visually inspect them for cracks, punctures, etc. I also have Ride-On in this set. Thought I'd try it since we were doing the Colorado trip and figured it wouldn't hurt any.
