I figured that just thought I'd get everyone guessing. I worked in a Jewish cemetary long time ago in the office. Wonder how many people were wondering. Margaret

You can have the buck teeth and the one eye though. Just trying to help pass the time for ya. :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf: Margaret

Want to Paint my '83
mini-muffin replied to ActionJax's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Here's a link to the yamaha paint codes if you want them. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1404 Are you gonna keep you bags and trunk on it? If so I'd look at a contrasting color to go on as well to break up the blue a bit. I do like that color though. Rattle cans do give you a nice finish as long as you don't get any runs in it. Good luck. Margaret -
Well we'll be there and we should be getting in on thursday. So two of us: me and muffinman. Oh if you need to find Skids house here's the address to the DQ which is right next door to him. 99 N ELK ST GASSAWAY WV 26624-1153 Sorry I don't have Skids address so this was the best I could do. Margaret

Glad you were ok and glad it wasn't Laura that she did that to. As I know you are. Might have been a different type of dent in her car then. Cops right maybe she'll look next time before moving over. Some folks are just plain idiots though. Margaret

Sorry to hear that. The ride in July is to Asheville NC July 10th weekend. You're more then welcome to come along and meet everyone that'll be there. We did a longer get together last year in Asheville but there's the international and Vogel in Aug. Here's the link to the thread on that. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35542&highlight=mini+Asheville Hope you can make it. Margaret

Windshield and Ventilation
mini-muffin replied to OldBear's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Some of the guys put in vents on the sides of the windshield. I've seen Squidley put them in before. Also you can always get a new windshield with a vent in it from clearview. The hubby said you may get some water when it rains but I guess it's a compromise if you want the extra air flow. Good luck. Also the baker air wings will give you more wind since you can adjust them for airflow direction. Margaret -
Well ummm I guess I would since they have it on video and in pics. So I guess I gotta stay outta this one. Sorry Ramona. I'm a baaaadddddd girl. :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf: Margaret

Yes it is, Walmart power port connector Muffinman has four or five on each of his bikes. Just make sure to wire positive and negative properly. Margaret
-
Ok here's the pics muffinman took. As you discussed make sure all edges are square and that the drive shaft doesn't come apart like you talked about. Give him a call if you get into any problems or need parts. Margaret
-
Muffinman said to give him a call tomorrow after 9am it sounds like what Rocket said he can talk you through what to look for. 1-919-673-5095 Margaret

So does this mean I'm not the only one in trouble? Will I have company next year avoiding you? :rotf::rotf::rotf: Margaret

The carbtune should be no problem you may want to get one if you don't have one though. Here's the link for the morgan carbtune with the exchange rate its a bargain now. Plus I'll add a link to where the guys were talking about it. http://www.carbtune.com/ http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=175 Since you're already a mechanic the valve's shouldn't be a problem for you either. As my husband says a motor is a motor don't matter what it's in they all do the same thing. As for your air ride depends on what's wrong with it exactly and evidently this guy doesn't know. Might want to check into who's close by to where your getting this bike in case you need help if you get it. Sometimes it just needs a bit of resoldering on the circuit board. Good luck. Oh and welcome to the family. Margaret

Ok for those who missed the actual video of this here's the link. What the heck I'm in for it next year anyway. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36904 Margaret
