well the new grandbaby is home, after spending a few weeks in childerens hospital in cinn. and appears to be doing very well she has even gained 7oz. thanks for all concerns and prayers they do work. papaw steve

Have to be at Hospital at 6:00am for surgery, maybe they will do it this time. They say 3 times a charm. A 100 things I wanted to get done before I went in but not gonna happen, Really hard just to walk so I'll catch up after I recover. Also decided this will be a good time to try to quit smoking, 5-10 days in hospital without them should give me a good head start. I'll really be glad to loose this weight I've gained since the back went out again. Last time I gained 80lbs and dropped it real fast after surgery, hoping I can drop this 100lbs as fast. Well if all goes well tomorrow I'll be back on in 5-10 days. Wish me luck.

Edna Jewell Wright passed from this life into her eternal home Sat. at 3:40 pm. I know some folks have "inlaw" problems and I am reminded again just how blessed I am. I took Edna's baby girl for my wife 37 yrs. ago and I gained 2 wonderful ladies. Patsy and Edna! What a blessing she was to me. She would tell everyone she knew how she had not lost a daughter --just gained a son. It has been a tough few months watching as the Alzheimer's took its toll on her mind and body. Patsy and her sis Jessie have really had a tough time--but it is all over now for mama. She is at rest. We will mourn, but know in our hearts that God needed her now. Who knows she might be making him some of them ol' "cat head" biscuits. Thank you mama for loving me REST IN PEACE!
