    Centerstand makes oil changes super easy. Also, I've used it to plug the rear tire before. The Venture is a heavy bike and it's difficult to get on the stand, but the capability to easily plug the rear tire is my main reason. The Venture is hard to push around on a flat.

    I run a radial in the back and a bias up front.

    The only commercial one that I know of is made by Rivco and can be purchased through Diamond R, but there have been many of them break at the welds and bikes dropped. Somewhere on the site, there are directions on making an adapter bracket to use a 1st gen stand on the 2nd gens. Freebird used to make them, but has stopped. I have one and it works fine.

    One thing to think about is that Carbon One's adapter is actually attached to the bike. Much less chance of it sliding off in case of a jostle.

    I was doing a little surfing and decided to check out the some netbooks. Dang, they're right up there with full size laptops now. The Asus Eee 904HA has 1gb of memory, 160gb HD, a 95% size keyboard, 8.9" screen, up to 7.5 hours of battery lifehttp://www.twtex.com/forums/images/smilies/eek2.gif , for the low, low price of 349 bux shipped from NewEgg. A 2gb stick of memory is only 25 bux, so I would upgrade that immediately.     The boards are aluminum. Polish them yourself for the cost of the polish and beer.

    I have the narrower front tire. I don't like it. These Panhandle winds push the bike around too much.

    Cig lighter in the fairing runs through the ignition switch. ALWAYS make sure you get a QUALITY batter tender and not a Harbor Freight cheapie.     The same light works in V-stars, Roadstars, and Ventures.

    I found the 1157NA seem to be brighter, but some might have a problem with inspections though. The 1157NA is an amber bulb and the amber light through the red lens is quite bright.

    I don't believe Sam Walton would be happy with the way Wal-Mart is being ran now. His motto was bring it home to the USA. Wal-Mart is now a giant faceless corporate entity. They do bring low prices, but quality has suffered. I don't like the fact that everything comes from China now. I think it's detrimental to our economy. With that said, I do still shop at the Evil Empire because they do offer the lowest prices on the goods that I want and need.
