  1. 70 degrees Monday, snow and 29 degrees Tuesday, and an expected high of 60 degrees today with lots of sunshine.
  2. I had a Silverstar, lasted 6 months. The light it put out was great, but it's too much of a pain in the final drive to change a headlight every 6 months.
  3. Damn you WalMart for selling stuff so cheap and saving us money!!! Damn you Americans for going to WalMart and supplying them with all this money!!!
  4. Or just pop the 2 smaller bolts and switch the tumbler and keep using your old keys!!!
  5. The switch has 2 harnesses coming off of it. One 3 wire harness and one 2 wire harness. You'll notice the 2 wires are also considerable heavier gauge then the 3 wire harness. Just cut the 2 wire harness off and wire it together or lengthen the wires and install a toggle switch. This toggle switch is now the master off/on switch for the ignition. Put this little harness in with your tool kit or even zip tie it to the frame under your tank.
  6. I was thinking the same thing. An extra switch is rather expensive. Instead, use the plug off you old switch and wire it direct, then, if the switch goes out again, just plug in the new one and get home.
  7. I assume that it was bought wrecked and it's just a project for him. Check out the rear fender, it's a different color then the tank.
  8. Ive got one. the hardest part about bypassing the switch is taking the tank off to get to the wires.
  9. He runs a car tire on his wing.
  10. Sounds like you're doing the smart thing and tightening your belt before you're forced to. There will always be another bike out there.
  11. Yep, Taurus bought a Beretta factory in Brazil. I have a PT24/7pro chambered in 9mm and have no problems out of it in thousands of rounds except for 1 box of Monarch ammo. Cheap Russian ammo.
  12. My advise would have been to buy one already rebuilt, and I'm a mechanic!! Automatic transmissions are finicky. Which transmission is it? 700R4, 4LE60, 4LE80?
  13. I ran Metzler on my bike before I went to the car tire. I ran the rear at 50psi and had no problems out of it.

  15. wook at da widdle baby, he just wants to play...
  16. You'd be a unique individual, just like everybody else. In Amarillo, there's a fella that'll pull ya in his trailer to your grave when you're dead and gone. He custom built a hearse trailer for his buddy. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n183/melandkeith/Sturgis%2007/coffin.jpghttp://farm3.static.flickr.com/2098/1562327341_532a1227f9.jpg?v=0http://www.sweetdreamzcc.com/SDCCWeb/coffin2.jpghttp://www.madmyk.com/gallery/albums/Past_Photos_of_the_Week/07_06_Coffin_Trailer.jpg
  17. You'll be pissed at yourself if you don't reinstall the weights. I bought my bike with "custom" grips and the weights had been removed. The handlebars buzzed and killed my wrists. I found some take offs on eBay and all is more gooder now.
  18. If the bike only went over onto the crash bars, then I wouldn't worry too much about anything. Just replace the highway bar and be happy that's all that happened. Steel parts in the roadway suck. Manhole cover are really bad when wet.
  19. It was in an email that I saw it. No link to attach to. I did find all the pics though on another forum. Here's the link.... WARNING. DEER GUTS AND BLOOD 5 PICS TOTAL www.bmwz8.us/vbb/showpost.php?p=9843&postcount=1
  20. Honda Moly 60 is the best to use. It's expensive though.
  21. You'll see it's stomach.

  23. The others are a "little" more graphic, so I didn't post them.
