As to muffinman I had the same reaction when he walked up on us at the Comfort Inn. I actually thought he was Muffinman's brother, cousin, or whatever. Still glad he was able to make the MD just the same. Larry

    Many Thanks from us to Don & Eilene as well. Sometimes words just aren't enough to describe the feeling one gets attending Don's MD or any of the other VR events folks sponsor for that matter. It just seems each time we attend a function it just gets better and better. I think part of that is making new friends as well as embracing all the old friends too. I do know there isn't another web based club out there that can rival the one we call home, VentureRider.org. Thanks again to Don's hard work on the site and his vision of what it should be.:clap2::clap2: Larry

There were a lot of folks taking advantage of the guy there doing the pin striping, myself included. Had Joyce's Mustang done up a bit. Pics to follow after getting the car cleaned up. Larry

    I rolled in around 2:30 this after noon after making a stop at the daughters house on the way home. We took the scenic route State 2 from Elyria to Toledo, a short run up interstate 280 & 75, hopping off just short of the Michigan state line. then back roads the rest of the way. Thanks to Don & Ellene once again for being gracious hosts & hosting this event. Larry

    Sorry to hear of your mishap Keith but glad it wasn't worse too. In regards to the crash bar braces; without them I feel it would of been worse. If the left side was scrapped you can be sure that brace kept the crash bar from folding. The right being bent and partially torn obviously kept the crash bar from folding entirely. So in a nut shell they did save you much damage (IMHO) doing what they were supposed to do. Larry

    We went by the Q S & L tonight. It was wall to wall cramed packed with bikes. Thursday nights here is bike night. Our group would only be a drop in the bucket compared to numbers we saw. So don't think there'll be any problems handling us. Larry

    There seems to be total disregard for any kind of traffic laws there. If indeed there are any. No one seems to be looking out for anyone much less themselves. It didn't matter whether they are walking, bicycling, motor scooters or cars. I didn't see any sort of traffic controls such as stop, yeild, or lights either. Larry
