Looking at 1994 Mustang convertible on ebay with 11,000 miles http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/320768912686 Says clutch replaced? why if only 11,000 miles (maybe used at the dragstrip I think). So see ebay includes 'Free Vehicle History Report' Click on that and it shows the vehicle's title was transferred in 1999 with 39,000 miles on it. yet ebay's own safety check report says no discrepencies found ???????

Installing a radiator cover, HELP
jarrejx posted a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
YamaQman and I are trying to install this radiator grill on his 2001 RSV. It did not come with instructions and we are at a loss as to whether the radiator needs to be removed to complete installation. Does anyone have experience with this grill? It was purchased on ebay from autotrimdirect. Not sure how long it will take to get an answer from them. -
I was looking at front rotors for my 99 on ebay and Pinwall has a set from a low mileage 2005 rstd with just 6500 miles on it. However the pics showing the bike being tested has the odometer at over 30,000 miles. I sent them request through ebay on the right mileage. Lets see if they respond.

I just answered the biz phone, and received an automated recording. "This is Ebay calling. If you are expecting this call press '0' " I didn't, and hung up. I don't do anything off a recording... It may have been a scam?? I went to my Ebay message board and there was nothing posted.... It probably was a scam.... Be forwarned...

Tried to turn down my rear rotor at work. To take the edge off , but thought what the heck I will just do it all. Well that wasn't the thing to do. Didn't look bad when done, but it pulses bad. It will wear down again, but real hard to do slow turns. Didn't know if someone triked theirs lately that would still have one. Don't have cash for a new one and on ebay there is only three on there. Which none of them are very cheap. Any help I would be thankful for.

A stock handlebar riser for a 2nd Gen? I decided to remove the 2" risers on mine because the throttle cables were binding and the threads on one of the stock risers is pretty well stripped. I'll be happy to pay. I've checked ebay, but would rather buy from someone here if they have them. Thanks!

For some of you that have been following the saga of my V-Max final mod to fit the '99 it did have a happy ending.... sorta... For those that hadn't I bought a V-Max final listed in our classifieds from another member. It was represented as being off a 98 with 16,000 miles on it. Sounded good. After receiving it Pegscraper agree'd to bore the housing out to accept the speedo sensor. Upon inspecting the gears after the mod Lynn found them galled and in poor condition. I might add that there was no way of telling they were bad until the sensor hole had been drilled out, but the possibility of quickly burning up the gears was very probable. So I sent a PM to the member/seller and he admitted that the final had been purchased on Ebay a while ago and he was just repeating what he'd been told by the Ebay seller, and I can understand that he didn't know about the galling. So I Figured I'd just wasted a couple of hundred bucks and was unsure what I was going to do. I did have another V-Max final stashed away that I'd picked up off Ebay 3-4 years ago. I planned on installing on the '91. I didn't know it, but when I dug it out, it also had the flat sensor housing. This is where Pegscraper comes to the rescue. Lynn offer to do this one pro-bono to at least a little of the sting out of the money loss, and I am really grateful. I don't want to embarrass him, but he deserves a big thank you... I did email the seller of the first final, explaining that I knew it wasn't entirely his fault as he had no way of knowing about the galled gears, but the final was basically unusable, or iffy at best. It was not what he'd represented. Also when I sell something that I can't verify as being what was represented I guarantee it 100%. I also bought the final because it was from a member. Caveat Emptor. So far no response. BTW the second final turned out great.

Just looking at this '83 on Ebay and noticed the vin# doesn't compute. #50. According to all the service manuals the numbers start at #100, and this is the first one I've seen under that. 270751434135

I know everyone who has chenged thier bars here says the way to go is that flanders bars. Due to the lack of available expendable fund I will have to wait months. The other option is toi find nice bars on ebay and get them in a week. I have been looking at road king and a few royal star bars. Better pull back and wider as well. has anyone tried road king bars, There is one I am looking at which does not have the knurled mounthing sections in the middle. is this necessary on our bikes for secure mouning or can i mount smooth handle bars? i have 3 on watched list on ebay right now so I am looking for the jury before purchasing. I can get one of these for $40 with shipping, hope I can go this route and save some cah while enjoying my ride some more.

I would like to polish up my engine side covers. How would I do that? What type of paint should I use for the Black? I took a picture from ebay so you know what I'm talking about.

Hi guys, I have read lots about road king pipes on the forum, but as I am in the UK, there are not anywhere near the same quantity of harley pipes for sale, i have seen a few sets from other harleys though, can anyone have a look at this ebay auction for me and advise if these modded straight through pipes would fit on my RSTD ?. I logged in to my ebay. I like to just look around so I try to choose "motorcycles" but a drop box comes down forcing me to pick a specific brand?? I dint want a specific brand I want to browse through everything. Since the motors selection box went to the Grey highlighted look this change took place. Anyone else seeing this?? So the menu bar from my ebay now will not allow you to choose just automobiles, or just motorcycles. You have to use the drop down box next to SEARCH to be able to just browse . Not a huge deal, but different to get used to.

I have an old Ungar UTC-200 Soldering station that I've been trying ti find new tips for. I know Weller used to carry them but it appears that they have discontinued them. I've had this thing for almost 20 years and it still works great, but I don't want to have to go out and buy a new one just because I can't find tips. I found a seller on ebay that had some U9010 tips that I was looking for in specific. They have a very fine point on them for smaller work. I save the old ones and file them down to make them better suited for other specific jobs. I bought all he had while I still could. That came up to $15.96 for 4 tips and free shipping to boot. Now in contrast, I also found a used one that the joker wants $12.74, and $21.16 for shipping. Umm... lets see now... a brand new one for $3.99 w/free shipping, or a used one for $33.90? Now I believe in free enterprise and all, but I think this guy is just a predator waiting to take advantage of someone who might be a bit ignorant or naive. I'm not really sure why I posted this, I think it's just a reminder for all of us to watch out for the crooks lurking on ebay. Or maybe it's just because I'm bored. Bill

I had found some parts I needed for my bike on ebay. I made the seller an offer and he accepted my offer. I was waiting for the invoice so I could get him paid and instead he said that someone had "just" offered him more money. Now I do not get my parts and he just sayd it is business. So if you have to deal with ebayer onestopoutlet beware. Shaun

I got an email from Ebay today indicating that they are going to start charging final selling fees on sold items that include the shipping cost. As a carrot type thing, they are now giving 50 free listings a month, so there may be a lot more junk type items listed. This may eliminate the practice that some sellers have been using to reduce the cost of selling items, which is to inflate the shipping cost. I sell some of my wrenches on there and have had them listed as free shipping for a while. Cost reflected this, but it seemed like an eye catcher to someone looking. On a related note, does anyone know how to do a search for Venture parts on Ebay and not get the snowmobile stuff. The Japs didn't know many English words apparently, so they made a snowmobile the same name. This is the search string I use, which eliminates a bunch of snowmobile & 2nd gen stuff, but not all. yamaha venture -gt -700 -1999 -2000 -2001 -2002 -2003 -2004 -2005 -2006 -2007 -2008 -2009 -rsv -600 -snow -star -enticer -blaster -600cc -480cc -wave -viper -vector -xenon -phazer -mountain -exciter -snow* -srx -venom -vt600 -vt480 -vt700 -sxr -carbide Gary

I bought a lift adaptor from someone on the forum and have had no issues with it. Don't remember even what I paid , not really caring. Friend of mine saw one on ebay for about 55 bucks. Just wondering if anyone is familiar if they are of the quality that our member makes them?

Just a "heads up" for ya'll ... I bought an item on ebay today from i5motorcycle. It was a set of chrome fluid caps (brake and clutch). He had a couple different styles and another seller also listed them. The shipping charges on his 2 items varied by $6 and by $8 between him and the other seller. When I questioned him about the variance (over 2 emails), his 2nd reply was... _______________________________________________________________ Dear silvrt, Are you going to whine in my ear much longer? What do you want mre to do? Please keep the whining to yourself. - i5motorcycle _______________________________________________________________ Anyone else here have dealings with this seller? Perhaps you might want to NOT have any if this is his way of responding.

The rumor on the Northwest Arkansas part of Advriders is that Cycle Gadgets is closing down. This link is to what they have left and are selling on Ebay http://shop.ebay.com/cyclegadgets/m....1.c0.m14.l1514
