  1. A very dear friend and long time hunting and fishing companion just passed away at 5:30 PM. I wanted to get to see him one more time, but the Lord called him home today. Please remember the family of brother Bill Rose from Mansfield, Ohio. His son Jerry is just like my own brother to me. Please remember us all in your prayers. Fuzzy http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fobit.wappner.com%2Fobitdisplay.html%3Fid%3D932820%26listing%3DCurrent&h=1fcb1 In Memory Of My Dear Friend. Bill was a very dear friend to me. Treated me so that I felt that I was family. A great individual whom I will always cherish in my life. He taut me so very much through the yrs that I knew him. I loved him deeply and will always remember the trips to lake Erie, the stops to get ice cream on the way home, the goggle eyes we caught together, the times that he didn't rub it in when he caught all the fish. The gapping Bill called it (Yawning) in the mornings and when we where so tired from getting up so early, to do what we loved. The hours we spent riding and talking together in the early hours of morning just to climb into a stand and sometimes get a glimpse of the old biggin. The fishing baits he gave me. The times he would lend me a rifle (Thunder Stick) or shotgun to hunt when I could not afford one. The arrows and broad-heads he gave me to get a biggin. The honey he gave me that he and Angeline worked so hard to take care of and then would not let me pay him for it. The time he drove me (both of us dressed in camouflage) to the hospital to get a thorn out of my hand, that I could not get out. Then we went straight on to the deer woods. The phone calls he would make to me just to see how I was doing and to check on my wife. I always think of Bill and his family as being my family. We love you all. WE LOVE YOU BILL AND HOPE TO MEET YOU IN THE WOODS OR ON THE LAKE OF GOD'S GREAT HEAVEN.. Fuzzy
  2. Just a "heads up" for ya'll ... I bought an item on ebay today from i5motorcycle. It was a set of chrome fluid caps (brake and clutch). He had a couple different styles and another seller also listed them. The shipping charges on his 2 items varied by $6 and by $8 between him and the other seller. When I questioned him about the variance (over 2 emails), his 2nd reply was... _______________________________________________________________ Dear silvrt, Are you going to whine in my ear much longer? What do you want mre to do? Please keep the whining to yourself. - i5motorcycle _______________________________________________________________ Anyone else here have dealings with this seller? Perhaps you might want to NOT have any if this is his way of responding.
  3. Well, there is.....one "deer whistle"...which always works.... to the detriment of the user. Just let your "dear" catch you whistling to another "dear" and see how fast you attract her attention!
  4. Ok, I am having a senior moment. I am about to do some service on my 86VR and cannot remember how much oil to use when doing an oil change, I am repalcing the filter also. My DEAR DEAR wife cleaned up MY garage and now I cannot find my service manual. Thanks ofr the help; DON
  5. I have had him for guessing around 30+ yrs. Sometimes lately he has been a real pain, but I lost a dear friend today. Now I just feel like I have a big hole inside me. RIP lower left wisdom tooth.
  6. Dear Abby, I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs… Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them." I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive, although I can hear a car setting off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi? I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her. I decided I was going to park my Yamaha Royal Star Venture next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she comes home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my RSV, that I noticed that the head gasket my engine seem to be leaking a little coolant. Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer? Thanks, Randy
  7. Just got the news today of the passing of a dear friend .Frank Flickinger's grandson called to let us know he passed away Sunday August 3 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was from Osceola, Iowa. Some of you may know him from the many rallies he attended wearing the colorful T-shirts that read My son is Vice President of Harley Davidson but I ride a Yamaha. Frank was very friendly and loved to talk about motorcycles. He never met a stranger. May you rest in peace my friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time. Allen & Patti
  8. A ex work associate and friend, (Paul), that lives in Whapeton Nd. and works in Fargo, about 50 miles, was on his way home from work Wed. morning at about 4:20 am when he hits a dear. he was thrown form the bike and the bike slid into the ditch, while he slid to a stop on the road. Another friend of mine, (Brad), that I work with gets of work the same time as me and he works in Whapeton and lives in the direction of Fargo, and he heads for home, he runs over something laying on the road and turns around to see what he had just run over and finds it was his friend, (Paul). I don't know if Paul was dead from the accident with the dear or if he was killed by being ran over with a 1994 chev pickup. I will miss riding with Paul, but I almost feel more sorry for Brad, I would rather be the one dead than to run over a friend of mine. My prayer go out to both Paul,s family as well as for Brad.
