  1. There is another part of the bile thing too, fatty foods need more bile to digest than not fatty foods, your gal bladder stores the bile, if your gal bladder stops working you do not store bile and if you eat too much fat it causes problems.. Even when not digesting fatty foods, you can be constipated, feel bloated, and in general feel crappy. My wife went through this for years before they decided it was her gal bladder and removed it. She still has to be careful to not eat too much fatty stuff at one time but all the other symptoms have been greatly reduced, and even when she does eat too much fatty food, she doesn't have the cramps she use to get.
  2. good stuff!!
  3. The problem they have been having with bad $100s is they have been made from real $5s so the paper is the correct type and the checking pens used at stores don't catch them.. But if you hold them up to the light, you can see they were originally $5s.. Because of this, it seems to me the way they should have redesigned bills is with each denomination a slighter different size, and smaller denominations would be the smaller bills. Then if they washed and reprinted a $5, it couldn't be mistaken for a larger bill because it would physically be too small. Base everything on the size of the $100, make the $1s a 1/4 in shorter and 1/8 narrower, $5 1/8 in shorter and 1/8 narrower, $10 same width but 1/4 in shorter, and $20 same width an 1/8 in shorter. And if they wanted to wash $100s and reprint them as $500 of $1000 dollar bills, well generally only banks take those. They would have to be pretty ballsy to try that.
  4. Mary wears a pair of these when we ride,, and really likes them. they are waterproof and also decent for hiking or just walking. She even wore them when we went out west horseback riding a couple years ago.. http://www.bootbarn.com/Ariat-Women%27s-Telluride-H20-Endurance-Boots/1009600,default,pd.html?start=0&cgid=Outdoor%20Boots&prefn1=gender&prefv1=Women&srule=Price%20%28Low%20to%20High%29 They are made in China, which we try to avoid, but they were the only pair we found she thought were comfortable enough for long trips where she wouldn't be able to bring along several pairs of shoes.
  5. I actually like the looks, but they are not as comfortable, handle very poorly at slow speeds, way too top heavy. I would consider trading my RSV even up for an 09 or newer Ultra. If I didn't like it, I could always sell if for enough to buy another RSV or a Victory.
  6. 1, I read the links, I don't see where is says they are censoring anything. How do you know they are censoring? 2. the CIA will have connections to the top 3 or 4 social computer networks to find the information they want. If everyone moved off Facebook to something else, so would the CIA. The only way you can be sure they don't have computer information on you, is to never connect you computer to the internet at all. 3. Why should I avoid all of Facebook just because their e-mail sucks. I just won't use their e-mail, I have an Android phone with Gmail, and I don't use that either.
  7. Most lightning surges that kill computers come through the phone line, and remember DSL is a phone line. the only way to try a different processor, or try the old processor in a different motherboard. I know for most you don't spares of these just sitting around. So replace both, odds are if it was a surge from lightning it got both anyway.
  8. I don't want to hear it, I'm at work until 11PM!!!!
  9. Actually, I believe they stopped making the 750 Nighthawk in 93, the only Nighthawk I can find for 94 was the 250.
  10. Did you stop by and get a fish sandwich at Mike Lenning's while you were in Louisville?
  11. Apalachicola http://coombshouseinn.com/ We stayed there couple years ago,, great place.. Go to Papa Joe's for oysters!!
  12. Saw the same joke two years ago with Detroit Lions as the punch line.. Of course they were 0 and 16 that year.
  13. I've owned two Kaws, an 88 750 Ninja, and a 03 ZR7S put 24k on the Ninja and 14k on the ZR not one problem with either.
  14. It is just a Voyager with no trunk, no passing lamps, a short wind screen, and older Nomad bags. They basically just made a less serious version of their full dresser, just like the Road Glide is to the Ultra. Yamaha could put the Venture fairing with a short shield on an RSTD and call it something else.
  15. This weekend is the Disney Masters of Arts festival,, lots of very interesting art of all type on display at Downtown Disney and the Disney shopping center areas. All free. We go down every year. Usually not on the bike though, I don't like riding through Orlando on I4 on the bike.
  16. I didn't ask for any dollar amounts, or the percent it was reduced. But what percent of your wage from your last few years, which I assumed would be your highest paying years. Obviously I was wrong there, so will rephrase, what percentage of your highest years monthly wage is your monthly SS benefit? If you don't want to answer fine, but you seem to be getting defensive. There is no need for that or to be rude.
  17. And what percentage of what you were making when you retired is your benefit?
  18. you keep missing the points. 1. The government keeps "borrowing" from Social Security so the benefits keep getting smaller (inflation corrected wise) for new retirees. 2. Anyone born after 1943 minimum full retirement age is 66, so what I said does have effect. AND!!! as it clearly states, it depends on how much you made in your lifetime of working. So the person that is 43 and makes less than $41k a year who thinks he can take a million now and retire, and that at 62 his social security will be of any significance has another think coming. But as far as visiting my local SS office, it is mute as I am not covered by SS.
  19. Straight from the Social Security web page. "As a general rule, early or late retirement will give you about the same TOTAL Social Security benefits over your lifetime. If you retire early, the monthly benefit amounts will be smaller to take into account the longer period you will receive them. If you retire late, you will get benefits for a shorter period of time but the monthly amounts will be larger to make up for the months when you did not receive anything. In the case of early retirement, a benefit is reduced 5/9 of one percent for each month before normal retirement age, up to 36 months. If the number of months exceeds 36, then the benefit is further reduced 5/12 of one percent per month. For example, if the number of reduction months is 60 (the maximum number for retirement at 62 when normal retirement age is 67), then the benefit is reduced by 30 percent. This maximum reduction is calculated as 36 months times 5/9 of 1 percent plus 24 months times 5/12 of 1 percent. Your benefit payment is based on how much you earned during your working career. Higher lifetime earnings result in higher benefits. If there were some years when you did not work or had low earnings, your benefit amount may be lower than if you had worked steadily. Your benefit payment also is affected by the age at which you decide to retire. If you retire at age 62 (the earliest possible retirement age for Social Security), your benefit will be lower than if you wait until later to retire. This is explained in more detail below. "
  20. your are naive, because if you stop working before 62, the amount you will get at 62 is greatly reduced, so even if you were given a million, you have to keep working until 62 or you social security will be SQUAT!!! And again, the 41K a year is only if you are a prudent investor and may be fine for now but does not take into account inflation. For a person to be able to retire they need enough in the bank to live off half the interest and be able to re-invest the interest as to compensate for inflation. figuring the best you can count on for investment returns now without taking risks, (this has to last the rest of your life) Is about 4.1%.. Which means of you can wait a year after you invest to use any of the million, and live off $20.5k and reinvest the rest every year You might be OK.. My wife and I would need a minimum of 3 million above what it would take to pay off my home, and even then we would have to give up some things.
  21. If you live to be the average 76, That is only $41k a year (only $33k if you don't invest it, but could be less than that if you invest it poorly) and a lot of that will be needed to continue your health insurance once you don't have any from work. That and to pay the co pay on doctors visits, and the 10% insurance still doesn't pay on any procedure up to the max $1000 a year most insurance companies finally will pitch in to 100%, and the co-pay on prescriptions alone will come to over $300,000. So that makes it more like $22k to $30K per year to live on the rest of your life.. And with average inflation those last few years, that $22k will be worth about what $7k is now, so you will hit poverty level about mid 60s, and be well below poverty level your last few years.
  22. Not only do they have a rev limiter, but Yamaha sets it to 400rpms below peak horsepower, and about 700rpms below redline, so you can't over rev the engine unless you drop to 1st gear and pop the clutch at about 60. That is also why a few people add the Dyna 3000 ignition, it allows you to change the rev limiter up over peak HP and closer to actual engine redline.
  23. Actually, if you buy the batcycle, you probably need this. http://www.udreplicas.com/featured/the-dark-knight-riding-suit/
  24. In every race except one, where there was a No Party Affiliation candidate, that is who I voted for. Screw both big parties. The only one I did not vote for the NPA was for Senator as the NPA happens to be the current state Republican Governor. Not sure how he went NPA for senate. I'm trying to start a trend.
  25. Yes!!!! I used it for many years when I had a sports car, and a friend in the same car club won many trophies at shows using Zaino, it works.. Yes it is a bit labor intensive, but come on, you say you use carnauba wax!!!!! It is not half as much work at that!!!! And we are talking about average users, with off the shelf polishes, not VERY FINE abrasive polishes that professional painters use.
