    Tom Prayers are sent for a speedy recovery and on a lighter note I hope the doctors discover that tom has not been sharing any DQ with TATERS and that she is suffering DQ withdrawls again i pray for a speedy recovery the best to Taters and you Tom

    welcome abord Pete these crazy loones on here are definitly knowledgeable on thes bikes and can walk you through just about any prblem blindfolded on these bike i am returning a 84 venture to its former glory with a lot of TLC and know how from these guys as well as my 99 RSTD its the best 12 bucks ive ever spent and the members ive met sofar are the best except for yammerdan im still waiting for him to tell me what size tow rope i need to use to pull my 2nd gen with my 1st gen:whistling: :bowdown::crackup:

    wife's laptop just went down also black screen no courser plug it up to external monitor and i can see everything but nothing on laptop

    i dont know if slowspecv has gotten back on but i think i may know who it is as he is local to me on the coast i will run by the shop and checkto see if it is i will pass on the kick stand switch and try to recruite $12 for a membership then again i dont know if he would be intrested in hanging around the nuts on here .....may not be his type of crazies:whistling::rotf::rotf:

    praying ...... if it happens again have the doc check for colon stroke one of my employees had that symptom from what i (don't ) understand can vary and even though this is common in older folks can hit younger folks on rare occasions my employee is only 24 most docs don't think to check for this in young folks hopefully she is good to go with no more problems

    my computer wont display anything so i dont know what code it gives if any code and i have to push the plug in hard to get it to work if it will work at all but when the compressor does come on i still get no display im gona brake it down tomorrow re-solder everything and see what i get from that

    ok my 2 cents:whistling: i dont have any cents Miles I'm not an engineering type just yet and it wont be in this field but i do see where you are going with this and i like the idea i dont have the money for a mod like this but maybe one day providing your out come works i could do this as well after you have worked out the bugs i hope your experiment works and keep us posted

    sorry funrider:no-no-no: V7Goose is correct you must charge the battery before use if not that will shorten the battery life posibly in half the batteries you get have a charge on them that is from the test they do at the MFG to make sure it works and holds a charge they however do not have a full charge these batteries in most cases do not have the acid installed for reasons of transport which makes no sence because car batteries are shipped with acid in them

    i only did the rear brake front right and clutch are next in about 20min. but my rear and front right came out lighter than that should be about the same on the clutch and front left

    whats in the pic is all that is there some one in the past took the rest of it out and slide the rain cover over the switch to make it look like everything was there the 2 pics is all that is there nothing else

    Whoops I over filled mine was not watching cranked it up and it did just that in the air box and on the shop floor what a mess to clean up now its half way in the sight glass on the center stand
