Oh you do have popping on deceleration, but not to bad. You just could not hear it is all.

Here are the pics http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20Hilton%20Head%201207/? Not too many today, she was enjoying the ride to much.

Kit's pipes are nice and loud too. But Mechanic and I were riding between Kit and Dave, you don't hear our bike just theirs. But no headaches. Becky will need ear plugs with those pipes echoing off the beer cart.

Dave, Kit, Mechanic and I took a nice little 340 mile ride today. Weather started out in the mid 40s and ended up in the mid 60s. :rasberry: Since Kit picked the direction and once I saw where we were headed, I told them let's ride on to Hilton Head for BBQ at Jim & Nicks. great BBQ, coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie. HMMMM good. :cool10: No SNOW or ICE, just nice sunny day :7_2_104[1]:

Hey, don't forget me I may have to lag behind a mile or two, I know those pipes are quiet loud. Met another RSTD rider over in Sumter that had the 4's and they were very loud.

Jeff As of right now, we will be down that weekend. I have MLK day off. Hopefully it is not snowing or icing. :rotf:

Eck knows, but just to let the others know, these miles are one way.
-
Easily 500, but 600 may be the limit if not staying overnight. If staying, 750.

I think it has evolved into something more than a true maintenance day. This one is where the guy that put together this great site is hosting a bash at his place. :):)

Well, I hope they don't get Freebird next time he rides his lawnmower into the lake. :rotf::rotf:

Well, after Garmin and TomTom went head to head in a bidding war for a mapmaker company in Europe, I think they could shell out like a 50,000 a year to cover your expenses after hooking you up to a tracking device.

Heck, I rode my bike the other morning in the 20's and it felt great. And I was using no electrical heating, just the heat from the nice purring engine. :cool10:

The Weight Issue in an RSV....What results?
Sleeperhawk replied to DarkWolf's topic in Watering Hole
I have dropped mine 3 times, all at a stop, just gently laid it down, the guards prevented damage to the fairings and saddle bags. And you do have to put your butt to the seat, grab hold and lift with knees. -
Kit, the electrical connection is under the seat, but just not a connection you are used to seeing. I have yet to figure out what kind appliance attaches to it.

Everyone should just ride, heck we went to Alabama and it was in the low 30s, just got home, and low 40's now. So what if we have a little cold weather.

:crying::crying: It is not even Thanksgiving yet

Sounds like a loose or partly cut wire, just making connection part of the time. -
I normally get between 14000 and 15000 on my rear Avon, mostly 2up
