    Yep that worked, but I have a new ignition switch now (replaced under warranty) and so far so good.

    He is totally full of crap on both issues. I had both right and left "Y' replaced and the front windshield and front fairing, all under warranty with no hassles from my Yamaha dealer. If you have another dealer in the area, go see them and see what they say.

    Okay, the one question I have not seen in this thread is: Have you adjusted the IC on your unit? and what is the current displayed number? Most I know have this set between 12 and 16

    There are a few threads at the bottom of the page. Here is the thread I started when I installed the Barnett. Just soak your in plates in oil prior to install. Rotate the Barnett until there is no sloppy feel. I used a balled allen wrench on the bottom bolts, you do not have to remove the exhaust when using this type of wrench.     Actually, I do not want the fairing, but a trunk like the Venture or HD would be nice.

    She says for now, she will be riding with me to the M&E, she does not want to quit taking pictures. She will be ridin her own ride, when it is just her and I doing local rides. But who knows, that may change over time. I still want her arms around my waist.

    The hot bath and coffee will be ready when she gets home. No can do about taking her out tonight, its Final Four time. We are thinking about the V-Star 1300:) and I sure did like the looks of the Stratoliner with the Corbin bags and fairing.

    Oh yeah, she is riding a 250, and she says she is having a hard time finding that little shift lever with her big feet. :rotf::rotf::rotf:

    Mechanic is taking the Beginner's Motorcycle Riding Class this weekend. I am proud of her even though it is raining cats and dogs today. The instructors said last night rain or shine, they ride. Took her some dry gloves and clothes at lunch time, she looked like a drowned rat even with all the rain gear. :rotf: You should see her hands too, all black because she mistakenly picked up my summer supposedly leather gloves. But being the good husband that I am, I went to the local bike shop and picked up waterproof gloves for her. She said that she has a new found respect for all of us that chauffer the passengers around.

    Well, since the seat is off, you might as well replace the plugs now. X-Large Jayhawk Blue. :rotf: Usually a team getting to F4 always has one bad game. Memphis and UCLA both could have been out the weekend prior. NC just had home court advantage, but now they will be playing in B12 country. Position by position NC has the 1 PF and very good PG. KU can run 5 post players against TH and wear him down. KU will most likely switch guards against Lawson just like they did against the Davidson player. You also have to remember KU broke the 100 point barrier this year on shooting the 2. This is same group that took out Florida last year on a neutral court. So bring on the games. :cool10: Oh yeah, one more thing in NC favor, Oklahoma State maybe pulling a NC stunt like they did with Roy Williams during KU's last F4 appearance. This story has broke since yesterday.

    The leaks at the Y are indeed covered under warrenty. I had both of mine replaced. Now I am going in Tuesday to get the ignition switch replaced under warrenty.

    I wonder what that "Breeze Midnight Ride" is all about Sounds like fun, hmmm, maybe more fun than the Dungeon. :rotf:

    Kuryakan also has the bar end weights but stilleto style. I used these for year or so and no vibration, with out them vibration. Then I found some bar end weights sold by Barron that fit the Kuryakan grips but come close to looking like the OEM bar weights. Again, no vibration. So there are options out there.

    It may take you an hour or so going through Mechanic's pictures, but it took me 6 or 7 hours of riding to get those pics on a beautiful Saturday. :rasberry::rasberry:
