  6. Anyone Familiar with this bike. A friend of mine is looking at one with the intention of maybe buying it, so he asked me about. but other than having seen the odd one I know next to nothing about it. If anyone can give me some pro's and con's about it that would be great. I think they are asking about $4,000 canadian and I believe it has about 40,000 KM on it. The bike is apparantly in mint shape with lots of extras.

  9. Us Canadians . . .why we are the most polite people in the world.....you Americans should know that better than anyone.
  10. Sounds like you are having a great time Wayne. Don't forget to check out the Capilano Suspension Bridge while you are there, http://www.capbridge.com/ Its a must. One of my favourite things is Horseback riding in the mountians, there are trail ride outfits all over the place. One last thing :photographing: :photographing:
  11. Hey Paul how is Rods foot doing? and did you resolve that engine miss yet?
  12. Did you read all of that off the old outhouse wall in one sittng :rotfl:Wonder how long it took the other guy to carve it into the walls
  13. Why do I get the feeling I am going to be real glad, that I am not going to be in their shoes when they hit your neck of the woods.............Something tells me they are gonna wish they had let Carl and me do the Honors.
  14. Does this mean you are not even allowed to store a vehical unless you completely remove all fluids as when transporting it on a public carrier?
  15. Excuse my ignorance but is it a boost sensor or vacum sensor. I have only ever seen boost sensor's on turbo charged engines. Not being a smart a## just looking to be educated.
  16. I understand their concerns but if it is not clearly stated in the contract or anywhere else, then can't see where they can deter you. At the same time, out of courtesy you could but some sort of covering on the floor like a piece of 1/4 inch aspenite or particle board, less cold and hard on the body too. If you do have oil spots on the floor srub them good with varsol then throw a good thick layer of floor dri (or cheap clay type cat litter) on it and just leave it lie there for as long as you can and the concrete will come up almost white. Antifreeze usually cleans up better with soap and water then with any kind of solvent. last what would be the difference between working on your bike or simply parking an oil dripper.
  17. Put the cut down windshield on that Marcarl gave me and so far I like it. There is a bit more wind noise but as I said so far I prefer it. I will have to try it in the rain and see how I like then.
  18. Got home about a 1/2 ago from Marcarl's. When I left he was just tucking the two in for the night. As they passed through Burlington, I asked my wife if it was Ok to to jump on the scoot and meet up with them. Some how even though the spot showed them as being 1/2 way between Carl's place and mine. I managed to get there before them (some excuse about stopping for something to eat). When they did finally arrive we spent some time chatting up a bunch of the usual lies and sharing a bad batch of jokes. Well for some of the time anyway. The rest of the time was spent with me (one of Carl's meat cleavers in hand ) and Carl (with butcher knife in hand) trying to give Rod a much needed hair cut and Rocket a desperatly needed shave. Needlesss to say we failed so someone else will have to give it a shot. Its been good sharing time with you guy,s hope you contiue having a safe but interesting trip.
  19. Is That a suggestion ...............or a hint

  24. I have two issues with my currant one. 1st the top edge is directly in my line of sight so I have to either slouch or stretch my neck (you texas boys can put your rope away I'm not talking about that kind of stretch). 2nd when riding in rain because, I wear glasse add face shield and windsheild I totally loose visual of the road each time a car aproaches from the opposit direction due to glare. So fri night I picked up the cutdown windsheild Carl (Marcarl) offered me and later today I am going to try it out. If I like it I will cut down my original windsheild.
  25. How about Topeka Kansas for our 2012 International VentureRider Rally ?
