    He will love it, I have been riding the dickens out of mine, just got back from Ashville, and also rode it to Skids Skid in at his place in WV. Tell him to join up, he will love it here..........he may get some ribbing about being on a Harley clone but its all in good nature. Its a great bike and I havent had a bit of trouble out of mine. In fact I just put new Avon Venom's on it and it makes it handle so much better than the Dunlops that come on it, tell him to be prepared to replace those original tires in about 7500 miles.

    Man I have been racking my head trying to come up with a way we could all have fun and raise some more money for St. Jude.....I was thinking a ride on a weekend where we could all meet up at St. Judes....and take the tour again and make the donation............This could really be big..............the event not the tattos.........Could even be a St. Jude tatto with the VR logo.......Lets go for it..................I might even get a tat like that........its for a great cause.........The Kids of St. Jude.We could also have a contest to design the tat...........:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Dan you werent with us on any of the rides, but thats how 86er waves at the Harleys, and now he has me doing it........both hands high in the air and waving them back at forth at the Harleys, real got some really strange looks doing that on the way back home and some thumbs up from some and big smiles from others............at least at a distance it looked like a thumb, but it was one digit, I am sure of that............Hmmmmmmm, could it be.................nahhhhhhhhh. Sort of like this little guy, but we dont stick out our tongue......... :rotf:

    Got a card from them, but no screen name, their name is Rick and Diana Joad from Mitchel On..........Have to look for post from them, they said they would on their return to Canada sometime after next weekend.........Nice folks, just like all VR members............. So the 4th Annual Tail of the Dragon did happen............see yall at Vogel next years Dragon.....................

    Well, I know we didnt do Vogel this year, but..............We did have 4 VentureRiders do the Dragon this year, on the way back from Ashville, 86er and myself decided we would be so close going home, we had to do it...........We got there, big crowd, plenty of bikes. Here is where it get interesting. We went out to have our pictures taken by the sign and approached a couple and asked them to take our picture, turns out they were VentureRider members also from Canada..........best part is we met them the day before while riding the Blue Ridge Parkway with some of the Ashville group..........we have pics of them there and at The Dragon, small world isnt it.............. enjoy these pics..........the couple is on the far right in the Parkway pics............ By the way a great time was had by all, Hats of to Minnie and Muffinman on hosting a fine gathering, and thanks for all the cooks who pitched in and did a great pancake breakfast Sat. morning.

    Here is another that works very well, I am very satisfied with mine, It is mounted on the V Star 1300. This one comes with all the needed wires for attaching anything to it, for about the same price. So there are options out there. You have to decide which is best for you............I thought about getting the mixit but the added costs for all the wires to attach everything was a tad too much, plus you can attach a CB to the ST-1 and I didnt see that option with the Mixit....     Take it easy for a while, maybe if you go back to riding your 1st gen your pressure will go back down.............. Hope your well enuff to make it to Newnan on the 31st of August for Clay's send off......... Be good or you will end up paying the price...........no riding......and thats the worst that can happen to us VentureRiders.........

    Its been a long time since we have seen you riding a 1st gen....but if your on a second gen, make sure you have emergency road service available to you.... You can pitch your tent on my spot, I hear they are plenty big sites there, Im on D-25, see ya'll there, 86er and I should be there before 5 PM Friday............. Hey Skid, dont forget my hat, I have been feeling naked withouot it................

    Guess you havent attended the VentureRider Tail of the Dragon, for the past 3 years we have ridden many of those rodes at this rally, they are great roads, along with a few other you didnt mention, for instance the Cherahola Skyway which begins between Robinsville and the Dragon.............The next Tail of the Dragon is scheduled for 2009, keep watching for the official announcement.

    Looks like I will be there in time for that meal, meeting up with 86er around noon Friday to ride up, should be there mid afternoon, looking forward to it................
