Most new cell phones have ICE in the number directory now, I put my emergency numbers there and I also did something extra, for all my family contacts, next to their names I listed the relation, son, daughter, wife.....so there is more that one way to find my emergency numbers in my cell phone. There is also a place for notes such as allegries and such, I listed medicines I was allergic to and medical conditions I have, cant ever have too much info there for the EMT's.

Great news Steve, glad to hear your doing ok..........just take it easy, the shop isnt going anywhere, may get a little dusty without you there, but what the heck....... Now if the docs:buttkick: would just hurry up and make the decision to do something about Charlene's Knee or hip, It would be great to hear her say those same words..........No More Pain....... Keep the faith and take it easy.............

I have frame hitches on both my vehicles and the tongue and ball stay there all the time, even though I dont own a trailer, makes for a good bump stop for those idiots who want to park to close behind you and follow to close on the highways, been tagged a couple of times and they always suffer the damage, all I have to show for it is a scratch on the ball or some leftover paint..............:rotfl:Of course it did put a hole in the front of my wife's suv bumper when her foot slipped of the clutch and it rolled into the back of my van.........oops..........I was in the van and couldnt believe someone had hit me in my own driveway, let alone be my wife..............

Nothing to worry about Bill.........Charlene and I were talking about that today, maybe moving it to 1st or 2nd weekend in Sept, might be a little cooler by a few degrees, got plenty of time to plan it. I will be posting a poll with some other dates, I dont wont to interfere with THE rally, but we will get it all worked out and Im sure both will be successful........Actually I thought about stepping up and seeing if there would be interest in making Vogel:bang head: the Intl. Rally, but since :bowdown:you stepped up, that makes it all the better, 2 rallies:smile5: to go to in a short period of time.
-
Thanks :clap2:for stepping up to the plate to host the next one Bill. I see that your dates put it just 2 weeks before Vogel which was planned ( I hadn't made the formal announcement yet) for the 3rd weekend in August which is Aug. 12-16, so I am wondering how many folks would attend both or pass Vogel for the Intl Rally. I might have to move Vogel up, which is not a problem, cause I do not want to interfere with the Intl Rally, I will post a poll with some dates and see what happens.....................and yes I will definitely make every effort to attend the Intl for a couple of days at least.............If I can be of any assistance at all please let me know. Good luck, I know it will be exceptional................

This guy got his wife real good........ http://www.maniacworld.com/firecracker-gun-prank.html

You bet it makes a difference, I had Dunlop 404's on my 1st Gen, and they only lasted 7000 miles, and put the Venom X on it and Holy Cow Batman, it handled like a sport bike after that, and they have over 11,000 miles on them and still going strong, now the new set is going on my 1300 V Star, it has Dunlops also from the factory and the rear is bald at 7500 miles................more to come after the installation........

When I replaced my first set of tires on my 1st gen, I went with the D404's as they were original equipment, that was a mistake, they only lasted a little over 7000 miles, the front was still useable, but I decided to replace them both with the Venoms after all the good feedback I got here. I am very pleased with the tires, really made my 1st Gen handle more like a sport bike than a tourer. I have over 12,000 miles on them and still look great with plenty of tread left. I reccomend them with confidence, the only problem I have with Avons now is they dont make them for my V Star 1300, I had to go to a different size on the rear, and guess what, the only ones that make that tire are Dunlop and Bridgestone, so I wasnt going there, the 404 on the V Star was shot at 7500 miles, I am waiting on the Avons to arrive so I can get them on my bike.............. In short, my opinion is Avons are the best tire out there, imho!!!:thumbsup2:
