Finally decided that I was going to the Davis Rally in New Hampton IA. :dancefool: Just going down early Saturday morning and headed back Sunday afternoon. Maybe these guys aren't as rowdy as that PIP bunch! I hope I don't run into any new traditions from the east coast. :whistling: Bongobob did go home..... didn't he????? :moon:

I have a crazy desire to purchase a Vintage Travel Trailer... like from pre 1960 or so. I have seen some pretty reasonable and some not so resonable. I was wondring if any one on here has any leads to one. Hummingbird has turned me on to the trail of one in or near Ohio. I just love the look of those old trailers and the beatiful wood work in them. Let me know if you have a lead on something in your neck of the woods. Thanks Much! Steve aka Bubber

Surely Someone has seen Lowel, the Ambassador in the last couple of days? Where is that man, we got some serous BS to sling at the PIP and he is just the guy to sling it along with me! Gary are you hiding him out up there in La Porte? Someone here has to snitch on where he be at !

Good morning all, I am having an issue with RPMs (I think). I was out riding around and everything seemed great and then I lost the "umph" from first gear. It acts like it wants to die at an idle and I basically have to wrap the throttle around just to get going at a normal pace. When it gets to just above 2000-2500 RPMs, it takes off and almost leaves me behind . So far, I have replaced the plugs and am running Seafoam in the gas and the oil. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I should go next? Thank you, Clay:bang head: -

Just got the V Star 1300 back with the new Avons on, and man what a difference, the bike felt like it was 200 lbs lighter, felt like the venture with Avons on it, just think about turning and it goes.......really good feel to it. Cant wait to get it out for a long ride..........

Well, 12,500 miles later, the Dunlop D404 is getting close to giving up the farm. I have been checking online and local shops for tire and labor prices. The stealerships are absolutely outrageous. One wanted nearly $250 just for a Metzler ME880 then another $75 to remove and install. Found a shop that will mount and balance for $35 if I remove the rear wheel myself. That is what I will be doing in the next few weeks.... SO BE WARNED! I'll be calling on all the experts here.
